  1. You can never fully trust any animal - especially the big ones. ......... unfortunately, there's 1 more poor fecker that's just found that out.
  2. I don't know mate - Google lists them at a few UK shops but, you'd probably have to check who's actually got one.
  3. Not a film - a new comedy series called 'Code 404' It's pretty funny.
  4. If I remember correctly, they are legal - they don't come under airgun rules because the probe that shoots the arrow isn't discharging a projectile from inside like a barrel would - the arrow slides over the probe. So, despite how it looks and operates, it's not classed as any kind of gun so, there's no 12ftlb limit either. But, It will still be illegal to hunt with one because of the arrows. If you're struggling to find the Umarex one, Benjamin do one called an Airbow.
  5. Give it a try Phil - I saw your shots on the other thread and, it doesn't get much better mate ......... leave it cocked for an hour or so, then shoot at the same target - it'll show you what your rifle is doing.
  6. Happy birthday Keith - all the best
  7. You must be about the same generation as me - I was born in '79. Last night me and little 'un were talking about stuff that I used to watch as a kid - I gave her a list to look up on YouTube, Cities of gold was one of them
  8. In my experience, it won't make a blind bit of difference mate. ......... leave that to the FT boys.
  9. I think you've been given correct info but, the only way to tell which is best for your rifles is to test them. ......... it's all part of the fun
  10. This bloke doesn't need a rifle - have a look at his post on the catty section He's a crack shot
  11. That's a proper 'A' grade c**t right there - just like most of the politicians with their 10k grants for working from home. Scum This is where the marchers and rioters should be targeting - those b*****ds robbing the tax payers when things get rough.
  12. I used to know a girl that was excellent on the skin flute Someone had to make the first comment
  13. I've not heard f**k all about it round here - I avoid the news (doom and gloom) channels as much as possible but, I keep in touch with an elderly friend, he's ok. It got quiet round here a few weeks back but, it's been gradually getting back to normal - people are out, cars are out. I've not heard of anyone local getting sick - I speak to a lot of the locals. Local plod sounded like I was being a div when I enquired about going to one of my permissions on the weekend. ......... it was a real 'wtf are you asking me for' type response.
  14. Good luck to the old boy - he's done more than his fair share and he's still going
  15. There's probably a system in place for her to request the 3 month break with her council - they may want to means test her first and, they'll definitely want a repayment plan for after the 3 months.
  16. That's all good and well but, it'll add more cost to a tenant that was already struggling enough to ask for the break, as well the debt of 3 months rent. As for the extra 3 months on a mortgage - banks are proper little shysters when it comes to mortgages. Some will really hike up the charges if you go over the term.
  17. The problem with that is, it has to be caught up again later. ............ the government made a 3 month break sound like they're doing everyone a favour but, in reality it'll push renters into debt and saddle the landlord with extra interest if he can't make it up before his mortgage ends.
  18. f**k me - imagine that grabbing your foot
  19. I think we like them because we don't see them that often - they'd probably lose their appeal a bit if they were just walking round our fields. ......... I reckon one of our favourites over here is the Hedgehog - I don't know if you get those? How do the people that want to buy a turtle from you expect you to get it to them?
  20. Being a single parent on low income, she'll be entitled to a reduction in council tax and universal credit - she needs to speak to a benefits advisor or the citizens advice bureau to see what she can apply for. Depending on her work circumstances, I believe even self employed can now get government help because of Covid 19. Get her to read through this: https://www.gov.uk/universal-credit ........ She can apply online.
  21. Turn this one up good and loud
  22. That sounds like madness - surely there's another way of dealing with it? ..... people managed for thousands of years without indiscriminate poisons.
