    i doubt id get 7 in a 24hour stakeout!!I've maggie fuds... what a feckin waste o money they were!!! i think they scare them off more that attract lol atb and good going si Aye mate they're not stupid are they. The only thing that lets them down is when the try resurrect a fallen comrade lol and catch a pellet in the lug I like that about Magpies - They seem to like being shot in pairs

    Yep, just like Si said - I've hit a couple well within range. The pellet was spot on, the impact noise was good, I saw it hit but, they still ran. I've said before, weird things can and do happen while your hunting at night. Anyway, it's not like you needed the runners - That's a good result Atb

    I asked about this before - I can't remember if it was on here or another forum..... the general consensus was that a springer is likely to wreck an NV kit sooner or later. Someone did suggest putting rubber between the NV attachments and rifle to help dampen the effect from the recoil but, considering the cost of NV, I decided not to risk it.

    I've had an Ultimate Sporter and, my shooting buddy uses and S510 S/L. They're both very good rifles. My mate does well with his when hunting. My U/S was easily as accurate as my HW100 but, for me, it just didn't feel as solid.

    This is and, for the foreseeable future, will always be a very emotive issue. In this thread alone I've read some very good arguments for both sides - Not always articulated as well as it could have been but, I can certainly see the sense on both sides of the argument. However, I do think the fact is that the world just isn't ready for full integration yet - that'll be a very slow process. Right now, Mankind thrives on conflict - Try to step back and look at it.     Ok, serious answer ..... I can't see any one just giving you a permission - They're hard work to get. I think it's safe to say that none of us pay to shoot. Well, not airgunners - a shotgun syndicate is different. To get a permission requires leg work, thought and patience (and trust on both sides - after all, you are asking someone to let you loose with a loaded rifle). Where local to you may have pest problems? What time of year might those pests be most prevalent? What can you offer the land owner? Don't get disheartened, it'll happen eventually.     It's a shame that you're so far away - I wouldn't mind a go on that to feel the difference. I've never actually used a professionally tuned springer. My .22 feels nicer after I put in a new piston, spring and seal in it.

    Yeah we've got some nice old fashioned scales on shop floor whilst their doing their pick and mix but we have to have digital trading standards passed ones for the final till pricingWe're calling it The Box Of Delights It sounds like the name will fit from what you said earlier Kids round here seem to be going mad for these things at the moment.......

    You would have noticed any damage straight away, I would imagine. I'd give it a few shots at a target just to make sure all is still ok. My daughters Goldstar se says to fill to 232bar but, I only ever go to 200. Atb
