  2. I wonder if desertbred is dual citizen of iran and britain or just british I don't know. That's his business. Not sure why you keep mentioning him. He doesn't mention you. He does. Me and DB have had many long chats about Axum

  4. This came on a rifle that I bought. To be honest, it's not great but, it might do ok for someone with better eyes than me. It's an Excelvan 3-9x56eg. The red/green IR works, it's got bikini covers and, to be fair, it's quite tidy. Anyway, I'm not going to use it so, if anyone wants it, it's free

  13. The Bbs isn't a bad forum - I got loads of help on there when I returned to air rifles after being away for 20yrs. I also made some good mates on there. I'm glad I found this place though Without a doubt, loads of the comments that I've seen on here would have resulted in bans on the Bbs - Some of those comments have had me pissing myself laughing. Of the people that I've met from the Bbs, not one of them could be labelled PC ........... Some are a million miles from it, some are out and out naughty boys It's not a worse forum, it's just different

I did like it a lot but, I never wanted to take it out in case I marked it I know what you mean about them distances - it always seems longer when I walk back. Especially the time I just kept stalking in the dark and fog and I got disoriented - I turned a half mile walk back into a 2 hour search for the car
  21. Ok, I'll give it a whirl....... If you can tell me what rifle you're interested in and, what calibre you're thinking of going for, I'll give you a sensible answer I'm assuming when you say 'gas', that were talking about Co2 rifles? .... if so, these can be more limited and prone to power differences than a more traditional springer or pcp. However, they're still a lot of fun and people do hunt with them successfully far too sensible answer jonno ones mentioned fart gas yet I know mate but, if Wexford is new to airguns, I figured I'd try to help him out a little before he par
