  1. Hawke Sidewinder 30sf 3-12x50 10 x half mildot ir I bought this in November last year. It's a fantastic scope with very clear optics and plenty of useable aim points. Works well in all light conditions and with NV kits. I'm only selling because I got used to Airmax scopes and, I now have more scopes than rifles I've only tried this a few times and, only on a pcp. It's in immaculate condition. It comes with everything as new - metal screw in flip ups, flip up tools, sunshade, parallax wheel, pointer, manual, lense cloth, spare battery for IR. the PA wheel and pointer h
  2. I'd also consider a swap for a 1/2" unf silencer. One of the new modular swift stumpys would be favourite but, I'm happy to consider an offer
  3. Well he's really not going to like the tank and the SAMs then
  4. dump him in the great southern ocean with a dinghy see if he can make itOr, better still, sling him out of the back of an RAF C130 over Afghanistan He has so little regard or compassion for his fellow man - he should appreciate it.
  5. Bushnell Banner dusk & dawn 3-9x40. I bought this last November because I was looking for a nice clear, simple little scope and, that's exactly what it is I allowed someone to try to reduce the parallax for me. However, his tool slipped and caused a scratch on the inside of the objective bell and a mark on the outer edge. I took the scope back quickly and didn't let him touch it anymore so, the parallax is still as set at the factory. The lense is untouched. Apart from that, the scope is in perfect condition. The glass is nice and clear. It has the Multi X reticle
  6. The sneaky fuckers in Europe were probably happy to let him walk off to become someone elses problem - in the same way the southern European countries allow migrants to pass through. Dump the c**t back in Holland - let Europe sort their own shit out!
  7. Welcome aboard Craig. Get stuck in to the airgun section mate All the best
  8. Cheers VM That was the best shot I'd ever seen on a rabbit ..... Mark's quite modest - he tried telling me it was a lucky shot but, I saw it. That rabbit was out in the open on a bare patch of dirt, there was no wind and, that pellet hit perfectly from that distance As for that little bell, I was chuffed to bits - I wish I'd had money on it now
  9. Cheers mate I'm hoping that we have found a good little pocket full of healthy rabbits. ..... we've been in those woods during the day and found loads of holes but, they always looked too big for rabbits. Time will tell
  10. Will do mate I really like how it's running at the moment. For me, the mix of how the shot cycle feels vs the trajectory that I'm getting is working well at the moment I check them all with my chrono from time to time. Did I mention that I accidentally shot the club chrono today Oh dear oh dear, you can shot a target 58yds away and then failed to miss the club chrono from a foot away. Was funny though. I blame the 97 mate - it seems to hit everything

  12. Cheers Si Them freestanding shots have been working well lately. ...... mine are usually all over the place Davy hasn't done his targets for January yet so, I've just got to keep my fingers crossed now it's when to pull the wobble i bet he leaves it till the end of the month atb si To be fair Si, I think you've just hit the nail on the head ....... I'm not sure if my stance or hold has improved but, I am slowly learning to read my wobble and to let the shot go at the right time It's not as critical with my TX because it is more docile. This 97 has more recoi

  14. Cheers Mark. That really was some shot ...... I haven't even mapped out 73yrds on my reticle.
  15. I surprised myself with that one mate Did you notice that I didn't try it again - I wasn't going to f**k up my 100% record You're welcome down there anytime mate. But, leave some rabbits for me
  16. Agreed I do like the hit from a .22 but, using a .177 springer running in the high 11s with a lightweight pellet today has just bolstered the fact that I am a .177 man You can't beat that flat trajectory and pellet speed.
  17. And just for Davy............. I did my next round in the Black Cat 10yrd pistol comp' today. It turned out that my team were joint 1st in November and clear winners for December I shot my targets for January today - 5 shots at 3 targets. Although not Olympic standards, Roger said I got the highest individual score of the competition so far So, let's see your posh new pistol ...... I'm fine with this old knackered HW40
  18. This morning I decided to put the Airmax scope back on the GSX100 and, take that and the HW97kt to Black cat for a session. I'd been there for about 5 minutes when Mark turned up with his Cricket and the TX with 'that' stock on it. I got the GSX zeroed, then put it away. I tried the JSB Heavies in the 97 but, they changed the feel of the shot cycle - it was more harsh and, the rifle became more jumpy. I could also hear a slight twang. As soon as I switched back to FAPs, it's manners returned and, I was knocking down the targets again. I tried them over the club chrono - these
  19. I popped out to the big manor house permission last night with Mark (Marky71). It was his first time up there in the dark and, I still haven't got anywhere near sussing the place out properly yet so, this was more about having a wander to see what's what. I took the GSX100 and Mark had his Cricket. Both .177, both using JSB Heavies. We started out on the smaller bit of land where we park. I took a couple of rats under the grain silos from 26yrds. One wriggled a bit but, the other just fell flat on it's tummy without so much as a tail flick We headed off into the orchard for a look
  20. I will be putting in for shotgun , 17hmr , 22lr , fac air , ground to air missile , rocket launcher , ak47 and a tank for my hunting trips .Some say i should go for more but I think that will do me for a bit Ah yeah, that will probably take a while then  The ground to air missile sounds like fun - the pigeons will already be cooked when they hit the floor
  21. 115 days for an air rifle with a few more fps? I could kind of understand if you were looking to own some yank contraption kicking out 200gn pellets at supersonic speeds but, that sounds a long time for an air rifle. Good luck with it
  22. Hmm, good question I don't have an FAC so, I've only tried a couple of higher powered air rifles. A .25 Matador running at around 50 ftlb was an awesome beast but, noisy. I think I'd be tempted to stick with something longer than a Bullpup - with the extra power, I'd like some weight up front to help with accuracy. It's not very original but, I'd look at Rapids. All reviews seem to point to them being accurate and solid. Good luck with your choice
