  1. I was actually I can't do it now because I'm at work but, I reckon I'll have a pop at that I tested the TX with a Hogan Decimeter silencer on it this morning. ........ I've not been a fan of silencers on a TX since I tested a few a while back. I've kept an AA Q-Tec in the bag for when I want to use the Combro but, it wasn't quiet and, it pushed my pellets low. Anyway, this hogan surprised me - it still lowered the grouping slightly but, the grouping was tighter and, it reduced the report to a nice thud. Also, I think that little bit of extra
  2. My shots look better in 5p circles ........ only 2 of them would have hit dots
  3. Here's mine from this morning - TX200hs .177 with FAPs at 30yrds.
  4. So you did .......... Feck me, I wouldn't be able to hit those dots.
  5. In that case mate, my advice would be to hang in there. Me and my missus have had our ups and downs over the years, god knows I've wanted to throttle her sometimes but, I think we're better together now because we've always worked things out. We've only got the one kid, she's 12, I wouldn't ever want her to be without either of us. Atb
  6. I'd give that a go ........ The trick is to get the first 3/4 down sharpish, before your gut realises what's happening. 15mins - no problem
  7. How old are your little 'uns Dave?
  8. It doesn't get any better than No. 6 Are we going for a TX shoot off tomorrow? I can do mine at work at 35yrds, You've already planned to do you yours, Jimmy's got one in the cabinet
  9. I've got a really funny image in my head of it going f***ing mental while someone trys to push it through a letterbox
  10. Name it, let it sleep on your bed and shag your dogs.
  11. Probably one of my best springer shots ever was in February 2017. At the end of a plinking session at the club with a .177 HW97 and a scope with a basic duplex reticle, I stood up for a last shot at a little silver bell at the end of the 60yrd range. It only went feckin 'Ping' ......... The best bit was, everyone saw it
  12. That's the bit you noticed
  13. It is bloody hard work with a springer. When I'm doing targets, I often find myself breathing out for the shot but, when I should be squeezing the trigger, I hang around on target, trying to get it more perfect. ......... Still not breathing back in and, not taking the shot when I know I should
  14. 2 nice bits of kit I've always liked them blue laminates stocks. .......... If only AA did one for the TX
  15. Now that does look like a challenge I'll be seriously impressed if you hit a load of those pellet sized circles
  16. Thank you for the kind words Jimmy Atb mate
  17. You're welcome mate - I'll get them off in the post tomorrow ...... Have a look at the pm I've sent you mate.
  18. ***** Now sold ***** A chap called Jess got in touch this morning and, drove straight over from Pontypridd to collect I think he's on here somewhere so, Cheers for an easy deal Jess. Enjoy it mate. Atb
  19. Those 2 both grate on me. I might take my dogs one year - it'd make an interesting programme Frank would show everything his front teeth or, try pissing on them. Lilly would be either sniffing arses or hanging around the food stalls. Good luck with those 2 twats Allan
  20. Nice scope mate. It looks well on your rifle It obviously works well to
  21. Good result Jeff Have you tried Falcon Accuracy Plus in the prosport yet? ....... If not, PM me your address, I'll post some up - they're a nice light, fast pellet. I really like them in a springer.
  22. Can't beat the mate How's Kaiser doing?
  23. Nice work BN What's the new scope mate?
  24. Ask as many questions as you need to mate The Ultra is very well regarded I had an Ultra Max that was good. I also had a proper Ultra and, it was feckin' useless - Crap shot count and big power curve. I'd never buy another. My FN12 light hunter is very nice. Despite being old, it's well made, slick and, predictable to use. But, please bear in min that this is only 1 opinion. Don't just take my word for it. If you're anywhere near Wiltshire, you're welcome to come and try the FN12
