Good shooting CH What do you do with your shot quarry?

Did anyone else watch this tonight? He Interviewed an old boy called Lorenzo who was convicted of sexually assaulting and killing 12/13 women in America. Apparently the DNA evidence had him bang to rights but, the old b*****d still denied it. ....... He kept using phrases like 'I have no recollection of that woman' and 'I have no recollection of those events'. When ol' Piers finally confronted him as a liar, he walked out. I'm not a fan of Piers Morgan but, if he'd had punched that c**ts teeth out, I would have definitely changed my o

View Advert Daystate Mk3 rt .177 Daystate Mk3 rt .177 for sale I picked this up last October - it came from a collector that had a large selection of old and new Daystates - all of them looked like they'd been barely used. ......... This one was no exception - it's in excellent condition with a very nice walnut thumbhole stock. It comes fitted with the Hawke Airmax 3-12x50 AMX scope that I bought new at the same time. ....... It will come with the

I quite like how they look, especially in the laminate. The thing is, I'd be worried about how much Gamo is in there. Also, it's about £300 too heavy for me to seriously consider.

PCP’s gone , going back to springers

I'll be fine mate - my language changes when I drink loads so, we'll sort of even out -
Top marks for getting out mate Are you any happier with that Viper now you've had it out? I know that sometimes the factory grease in an HW100 can be effected in the cold, causing a slight drop in power.

I may well give you a shout on that mate I've fancied trying it a few times but, I'll wait for the warmer evenings first. ......... I'll give you a shout to pick your brains on technique -
I think that's the sunshade for the front - they've just placed it weird for the picture.

Just a bit of an add on question - those of you that are springer-only, do any of you use NV to hunt at night? I'd love to give the TX a go but, I don't want to risk damaging my Viper. I've never tried lamping but, I imagine after using NV, I'd probably be shite with a torch. -
Your sizes look a little off there Raptar. ....... The first 2 numbers are the magnification range on the scope and, the last number will be the size of the objective end in mm. I use 3-12x50 and 3-12x44 and 3-12x40. ..... Most of my shooting is done at x10. It's just what I've got used to and, I've become comfortable judging ranges at. I have the 3-12x50 on my main hunting rifle because it seems to work best with my NV add on. For walking around during the day, I like the smaller, lighter scopes. But, as already said, a lit of is dow

That was some day that - I remember watching it all unfold. Can't blame the Americans for going a bit mental on the war on terror after that. The falling man picture was f***ing horrible.

These are cracking scopes. Good luck with the sale mate

It's just started - it looks like it might turn into another Nige bashing episode.

Hunting with an air rifle, - PCP Vs Springer.
Jonjon79 replied to mark williams's topic in General Airgun Discussion
I'm late on this one as well and, to be honest, I'm not really sure how to answer but, here goes......... I've felt like going completely springer in the past but, when I sold my old HW100ktla, I immediately regretted it so, I bought an HW100s. It's such a slick, accurate rifle and, it gives me a lot of confidence when hunting - especially at night. ....... I've said it before but, at the moment, I don't think there is a better all round air rifle. However, if I'm feeling on form, I'll grab a springer for a day time hunt. Also, at the range, that HW100 g -
Drop in kit suggestions, Dave Price?
Jonjon79 replied to Sibbsy's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
I've never tried one of Daves kits but, he does have a good reputation. I've had a fair few TBT bits. They're excellent value and they always do what it says on the tin. Plus, the service from Nick is excellent. However, I'll chuck in another vote for Si I've got an SFS tuned 77 - Si's own 97 that I fired is easily on a par. Also, if he can tame a feckin god awfull snappy little shitbag like an HW57 like he has, I'm well impressed
