    It's nice when they have sentimental value like that I wouldn't know how much a shop would charge - I've always done my own.     Sounds like it's dieseling mate - there could be grease in front of the piston that's combusting when it's fired. ....... a strip and clean should sort it The image below might help.

    I've had a 97 and 3 TXs and, for quality and accuracy, there's nothing in it as far as I can tell. It's just that the TX fits me better
