  1. I might join you and bring a few shotguns with me. Phil
  2. I think Leapers do a really small one for their Bug Buster scope Rez Phil
  3. I like that Dave BUT my right eye has two caracts and the left eye has one so it has to be a screen spotter because I am buggered. Slick looking though mate. Phil
  4. I really don't know Tom what make the camera is because it was fitted in the NV system when I bought it but I have just had a quick look outside but the range is not so great although it was not a fair test as it is not properly dark and raining. I think perhaps it is not an E700 camera but no way of knowing. phil
  5. As I was a bit bored this afternoon, I had a play around with the NV above, stripped down the unit and replaced the 12mm lens for a 16mm I had in my bits drawer. I know it looks really Heath Robinson but it is just a test. The camera is mounted on the outside of the plastic box which I guess should be on the inside but this box houses the battery inside and is too small to fit the camera in there as well so a new larger box will be needed and a method of fitting the screen flush to the box as I have only packed it out and taped it on for trials. I have seen that you (some bloke, sorr
  6. Why don't you pop an advert in the sales section with a photo and say you are looking for a deal of part ex. You will need to pay a small fee in order to use the sales section but we'll worth it. Might be an idea to say what bullpup you are interested in. Phil
  7. Mitch will confirm but I think there is a little more adjustment on the impact but to me the advantage is the way this gun sits between the hands making a very firm grip because there is some umph at nearly 50fpe. I have found it very hard to explain the real advantage of shooting an impact BUT if you test one..............you will know. Phil
  8. Ah fair enough, it just wasn't clear what you were after. You might struggle to do a deal with your Daystate as the company has a really bad reputation which goes against it. They are a lovely looking gun and funnily enough I picked up a s/h one in my RFD last week and whilst it did feel ok in the shoulder, it was very heavy even without a scope fitted. Good luck with it anyway. Phil
  9. AND !!!!!!! Are you wanting to sell it here or swap or wanting some ideas ? Phil
  10. This is the rather strange thing my pal has bought, not seen it yet. This is the NV I have taken back from my son in law made by a guy called Damion in Stoke via his ebay shop, decent enough but not wanted so happy to pull apart. I am hoping to be able to make some use of this kit. The IR torch is a T20 but I also have a T50, both of which are not used anymore and if I needed to bump up my Nitesite, I also have a Tracer sat in the drawer. Phil
  11. Great stuff thanks. To be honest , I have just taken back an NV which my son in law has had on loan for the last two years so wondered if I could make it into a spotter, when I say 'I could make a spotter' that may be stretching things a bit. The handle and another lens will be needed for sure. I will take a few photos of what I have so ideas will be gratefully received. Phil
  12. Right boys, I am looking for an NV spotted so any suggestions but not a thermal as my pension will NOT go anywhere near one of those and if anyone has one for sale, please let me know. my pal has just bought something that looks like a military head unit, don't ask me why although it will be interesting to see what they are like. Phil
  13. We have just picked up a new perm which is stuffed with rabbits and I do mean STUFFED. Now these fields are 5mins from my cottage and I drive past them God knows how often BUT I had never seen a rabbit on the land. The first walk on with the gun and NV was mind blowing, so many rabbits. So where am I going with this, if I had a spotting NV and kept it in the car, I may very well have seen this activity a long time ago and have to say I want a unit to do some reccies using a spotter. The big advantage of this is that you can, depending on the land in question, scan for activity then go and
  14. Nice one matey. The shroud looks cool.
  15. Ah sorry for my mistake but the side lever is still right at the back though but nevertheless far better than a bolt. I have to say I hate bolts at the back of any air rifle but thats just me of course. Phil
  16. Personally I don't think that is going to get the best out of a .25 fac running at 30fpe. it would be far better around 45 - 50 fpe to get a flatter trajectory. Most Impacts run at 47fpe and the .22 at around 28 - 30fpe. Phil
  17. Quote :- Far too much gone on for there to be no truth in the matter. Sorry Mark, not sure what you mean matey. Rez, the gun is sweet to use and the only thing anyone could say is the mag installation is different to the 100 with the 100 being better but like most things in life we get used to the differences we have to face and the mag install is no different. It is more fiddly for the first few times you use it it BUT it becomes second nature very quickly so not a negative at all really just a simple difference between guns. The very early 110 rifles had some issues whi
  18. There you go fella, if you were not so far away, you could have come and tried out before buying one but I very much doubt you would be unhappy with it. Phil
  19. When I first saw the Dreamline, I was pretty sure it was in fact a Streamline with options for different stocks which may well suit some people although I suspect it is entirely designed for the US market and they will bring out a .30 option. Its whatever floats your boat but the Streamline I bought from our Si was a lovely gun to shoot but for me, I prefer a shorter gun and have a hankering again for a Wildcat .22 fac ................................................................................... when I am not bloody skint. Phil
  20. I have heard only good things about these little pups and was temped to get one, just don't like the bolt right at the back. When you have had a few FX pups, you get used to the side lever being well forward making it so quick and easy to load the next pellet. I am pleased you like it me ole mate. Phil
  21. I have the 110k, really lovely little gun, very well balanced, extremely quiet and of course accurate. If I am not using my fac Impact, then it is this little cracker. Phil
  22. HW100 is a Weihrauch pcp rifle and possibly recommended by more people that any other gun..................................even if it is'nt the best or anywhere near, better get my tin hat on now even though FX is best !!!!!! Don't worry about being a massive twat because that applies to most of us, well at least Mark Williams Love you really Mark. Phil
  23. Which ones have been trying Billy Phil
  24. Scott don't take the hump, we are renowned for taking the piss BUT you will never find a more helpful and generous group of people on any forum anywhere. You have to read through the many posts and you will see what many of the lads have done for fellow forum members. You have to bear in mind when people are looking for some shooting to share or join, it is something we have been asked loads of times and we tend to take the piss which may well seem unkind but don't take offence as none is meant, it is just banter, nothing more and most of us become twat of the month at some stage.
