  1. First Matt, to meet your request..........you are a boring old fashioned twat. Ok so that's done. I sort of agree Si, we have Impacts so can't say too much BUT it is like the Germans saying something like, zo zat BSA filth have made ze crap Defiant bullything zo Achtung ve vill make an ugly bully and ve vill charge more vich because eet iz from da motherland, zoze foolish brexittt peeps vill pay and pay and pay, vee vill show zem da price for leefing uz vid za frenchies. 2. On well if it works well for you, that is all that matters. Phil
  3. I think a tin works well with an Air Arms neoprene wrapper to be very honest. Phil
  4. They are superb in fac which is what they were designed for. The only way to see the merits of an Impact is to shoot one, then it all clicks into place. Save your money and buy one. Phil
  5. It,s heavy, looks like a Hatsan creation but it has an adjustable stock which is good. I think we need to see it close up but not keen at the moment. Phil
  6. Not sure about quietness but the performance of Fiocci 3'' are excellent. Phil
  7. The smallest perm by a long way but possibly the highest density of rabbits and if these pigeon roost there most of the time, it will a little cracker then home in 5mins. Perfik Phil
  8. My local RFD usually has a few fac air rifles in and I think my old Rapid .22 fac is still there but no idea what stock he has at present. it is Crawford's Shooting Supplies, Scunthorpe, 01724 846000 and ask for Graham or Andy. Phil I have been shooting an impact .25 fac for the last two years and can confirm that calibre in fac is seriously good. Phil
  9. Thank you, I normally just put an 8mm black spot on A4 paper as I hate cluttered targets mainly due to knackered eyes but that one is good. Phil
  10. I like your targets Christoph. Nice and clear, I will try to get some of at least one to photocopy. Phil
  11. I picked one up in the RFD a few weeks ago as you and Tim had said how good they were but the weight is way to much for an old tart like me. I would think in a static situation the weight may work in your favour. Phil
  12. A bit late as he left yesterday ? phil
  13. Very nice job and to a good cause, well done both of you. Phil
  14. Sorry mate but I thought the .22 was a better bet for later fac upgrade. As for the X-liner Jimmy, I really would not give it too much thought, I don't have the X-liner but it didn't stop me taking three rabbits at 127, 122 and 73 mts the other night, (some luck in there as well) but the point is that it doesn't stop me taking some bloody good kills despite the fact that I can miss em as well but that is me not the gun. The other option is a second barrel at approx £350 inc one mag then you keep the .177 and have a .22 both of which are X-liner barrels which also puts you in the right pla
  15. Right mate, found you a one piece unit. Optics Warehouse, BKL 253 only 3" and if that is not what you want, they have shed loads of mounts. Phil
  16. JSB Exact RS pellets but to be honest I have done no pellet testing which is not !old me at all because I love working my way through them all to see what is producing the best groups. I found these were the best pellets in my .22 Wildcat by a mile so tried them and they were superb in the 110K as well. February is a rap month weather size so I will be slinging lead down the range testing pellets but they will have to be bloody good to improve on the RS.
  17. Have a good un Mitch. Safe journey Phil
  18. Looks good Si, it's only practice day is Sunday unless you can book a Saturday depending if they want a minimum number of people. Phil
  19. My pal and I went on the new perm last night to get a few rabbits but in all honesty they were very thin on the ground and the ones we got were all at extreme distance. This new perm needs some time spending there to note good ambush points because the ground is open and street lights behind you cast some very long shadows. Hmm brain to be put into gear. This perm is basically two large fields with a tree filled and grass covered quarry in between which we also have and is approx five acres. We walked back onto the road and into the next field and slowly walked up the side of the quarry,
  20. By jove sir that sounds rather splendid, what ho. Session at Humberside Si, good place for clays or of course Beverley ground, now that is one of the top trap grounds in the uk and shooting under cover so hearing protectors are a must as the noise will blow yer hat off. Phil
  21. What do you normally use rubbers for Dave..........................................your memory mate!!!! Phil
  22. Already ahead of you there Dave, ole tarts club.................... Phil
  23. I think it was my torch that is not a T20 Dave although when I bought it the torch was listed as a T20 but never mind mate just a misunderstanding. My shooting partner and I were out with a chap who is moving away and he has given my pal an NV spotter tonight so we will give it a whirl when he picks it up. I think we still want one each but it might do the trick for the time being. Phil
  24. I know they used to because I had one fitted to a Leapers Bug Buster scope but perhaps not enough demand. Would the reach forward mounts do the job Jamie.
  25. If they don't do one Rez, you might be able to use reach forward mounts. Phil
