My shooting buddy loves his and l love my 110k. Lighter than the 100 and the 'k' is even lighter. There are a few to be had at the pre increased price of £650 instead of £725. Phil

To be honest these scopes have a reputation for dropping zero on so fingers but you have nothing that far yet. Might be worth starting again. Phil

Training/ Practice with Target Air.
philpot replied to mark williams's topic in General Airgun Discussion
You hit the nail on the head Jimmy, loads of land to shoot on and then off to the range for target shooting. My shooting partner and I have been thinking about setting up a range and unfortunately missed out on a woodland perm which had pathways through the part of the wood where the pine trees were planted years ago making a brilliant range but alas it was not to be. Still looking though or perhaps an area which we already have but not so easy. I very much like the look of the target stand Mark because with that one it could be set up above long grass etc, does the stand -

I have now sold my Anschutz rimmy as my go to rifle is the Impact .25 fac which does 95% of all my vermin shooting along with a few nice pheasants. FAC air is a very underrated method of shooting and most who say otherwise, simply haven't used one to find out how effective they are and so talk through their rear ends. Phil

Phill, I am delighted for you mate, you see despite what some people may think ? it is always worth talking to the seller and certainly with cottage industry items like this. The guy sounds to be a honest and fair seller who has come up trumps for you. Hmmm a good move mate. ? Phil

I think I have already said a little about the problem I have with one of my Nitesite units but a short story so far. My Viper has been as good as gold and is used more on shorter range ratting sessions until about 6 weeks ago, the screen suddenly stopped working. I checked everything when I got home to confirm it was the screen only at fault. Nitesite wanted £160 to replace the screen WTF, they cost about £10 on ebay so fcuk that. My shooting partner knew someone who did various electronic repairs who said he could sort it................................................now he can't, I su

Yes no problem but it is at my RFD's shop at the moment as he wanted to borrow it for some testing but I will pick it up before Xmas and take some photos. It was made by guys at British Aero Space and the build is superb with really well made baffles inside. Phil

Good for you Phill. I cannot disagree with Mark's comment, rare I know but nevertheless on this I agree ?, the thing is I do not like being ripped off and some of these mag prices are crazy so if a cheaper solution that works is available and the loos would not be too great, then a punt to test it I am up for. So far the .22 ones I have are working fine and I will keep my fingers crossed they stay that way. I do think however Phill, you should let the seller know of your situation because if he doesn't know, how can he ever improve matters and many of these cottage industries need fe

If you ever need one, I have a custom built reflex mod for Rapid fac. Phil

I had one a few years ago and as Pav has already said cock the bolt before filling. I have only used an air tank to fill from so cannot comment on a pump. It only happened a couple of times though. Phil

Possibly the hardest decision you will ever make where the children are concerned and hope you all come through it. Phil

The mags I have are .22 and the pellets used in the HW110k are JSB Exact Jumbo RS which so far have produced excellent groups so not bothered to try other pellets as yet although now winter is on us, I will be doing more pellet testing indoors. I would contact the seller and advise him that the pellets mentioned work fine in the HW mags but not in his and does he test these pellets or failing that ask him for your money back. I do want to try some polymags in my .22 but have not got around to buying any as yet. I seem to remember when I had my HW100KT .177, I did have issues with polymags

I had the same gun before moving on to an fac .25 FX Impact and the Rapid is a real hunting tool and no mistake. Mine ran at 28fpe and if my memory serves me well it had a 16'' barrel which a number of guys said I should swap out for a 19'' barrel. It had less shots per fill than the 19'' but to be honest I got around 55 shots per fill so more than enough. These rifles are super accurate and after testing loads of different types of pellets, I found Air Arms Field Heavy 18gr way better than anything else and funnily enough on the Rapid7 forum, I was told the same thing by a few people so

You can walk around all day with a cat Rez as they are so light and well balanced to say nothing of them being a joy to shoot. Phil

Welcome aboard Glynn. I am not a springer man at all but would say if they are cheap enough and you are happy with the price, buy them. I think I am correct in saying they can be tuned to enhance their performance and to that end, there are some very well informed guys on here to give you advice as to what can be done should you want to go that route. Phil

I think Phill-W68 has a Photon NV and just wants a spotter. I must admit I would like a low end spotter to find shot quarry and there are a few in this bracket but are ANY of them any good. If I had the money Ian, without doubt I would be talking to you about a Pulsar spotter but the pension just will not go that far. Phil

Never had an issue with the two Wildcats or the Impact. Phil
