  1. I know they are not made or at available in the UK but if possible I would like to try Polimags in .25 and turn down the power as they remain stable in flight. They could of course be rubbish but you know what it is like when you have an idea in your head. ? Phil
  2. You must have a very prolific squirrel population on your perm ............................................................................... Sherwood forest by any chance??? Phil
  3. Might be worth checking with Ratworks or Airtech to see if they can supply. Phil
  4. Pleased all the rifles fit in there Jimmy and good to see you both yesterday................................................I wonder how Si is today ? I would have had the case if I was nearer to you mate, too late anyway. Phil
  5. Last night, I had a drive to one of my perms just for a look around, one the way back, some very small rabbits were playing in the lane and on the grass verge. I slowed right down to let them get out of the way and while I was almost stopped, a young badger came out from the long grass, sat in the middle of the lane for a scratch. I rolled the car very slowly and within about 15' I put the hand brake on. Expecting the badger to run off, I was surprised to see he or she was quite happy to forage in the grass so moving slowly with the phone camera, I got to about two feet away and took a photo,
  6. Even with knackered eyes, I use 6x or 8x for day and night and that is out to 100mt+. Phil
  7. Yes Tom with a Boyes custom stock fitted.
  8. This is the gun which has me looking longingly. I think I need to come out of retirement and earn some dosh so I can get a few guns which are pulling my strings. sorry guys, this bloody photo will not rotate........................£$%*&%£ Phil
  9. Are we supposed to be impressed..................................................................................................I am so pleased for you Mitch ? Phil
  10. You must have had a BAD S200 because they are way better made than any Gamo in terms of build quality and supreme accuracy. Phil
  11. Black n grey laminate looks really nice. Just been looking at a Ruger .22lr, keyhole laminated stock , satin silver barrel and the fit is superb but I don't know what the price is yet as it had only just arrived from a guy who is selling up all his stuff. I think I might pop in tomorrow and test it while Trish is out ? Phil
  12. That is a fair comment Mick and yes you are right, using FAC can throw my logic out but it seems that the pellets are doing ok for Jeff so far so let's see what happens. Phil
  13. Right mate, Bilton is very close to Hull, 5 miles east of Hull in fact.
  14. Still makes me laugh mate. I will send you a text when we know what we are doing. What time are you seeing the guy with the cabinet. Phil
  15. It is going to be busy in Brid matey, Trish and I might have a run up depending on what we have in the pipeline. Phil
  16. Ahhhhh Jimmy, there was one exactly the same in my RFD a few months ago and for me the balance was fantastic, I really did not want to walk away BUT I am surprised you liked it so much because it is MUCH lighter than the Ultimate Sporter which is a heavy lump to me although I know you like heavy lumps of guns soooooooo how can you like the Crown apart from the fact that it is wayyyy better than the bloody Ultimate Sporter ??? Only joking Jimmy .............................................................................. not really, Crown every day of the week IF ONLY my numbers were to c
  17. I am really pleased for you mate and hope you and Nicola have a great weekend, I think you are both ready for it Jimmy. The new 510R Ultimate sporter has a reg fitted and a track under the forend to slot in all manner of things such as bipod, sling mount, hamster if ever wanted etc and the stock in walnut has a soft feel adjustable comb raiser which can be positioned in different directions from what I read. A write up in this months Airgun Shooter. Phil
  18. Jeff, try Uttings for availability and price because they have been best on both recently. The heavier JSB even at almost 50fpe simply group anywhere as well as the AA Fields 25,4 neither do JSB Exact Kings 25.4 or at least not in any FX barrel I have heard about. Phil
  19. It may be worthwhile giving York guns a call Tom as they are the importers of the mossy hushpower along with other options so I would assume they will also carry the best ammo for these guns. Phil
  20. You have gone for a cal that reloading would pay huge dividends and extend the joy of small bore guns. My pal had one which I shot a couple of times and what a lovely thing it was. Have a look at 'Clay & Game, it may be an interesting route to take. All the reloading components are available here. https://www.claygame.co.uk/lee-precision-p113 Phil
  21. Top flight competition do cost a hell of a lot of money. Top clay shooters are using guns costing from about £6k - £12k. When you think about it, in every sport where specialised equipment is used, the top level competition versions are always highly priced. Phil
  22. Yes please Mitch, pm me your payment details and I will send some dosh. Phil
  23. Yes you are right, either pick one up at your local RFD or contact Best Fittings as they make all the fittings. https://www.bestfittings.co.uk/product-category/quick-coupler-kits-and-parts/ Phil
