  1. Bloke near me has three, never ever seen them off the lead, snarling at anything that comes near. Shame as they are a nice stamp and have some spirit.
  2. Cheap as chips that. Glad it was a good day
  3. Great Post, a lot of truth spoken there, respect for dogs and quarry .
  4. Hi mate, if these are not taken by the O.P then I would love to take them
  5. Lads doing everyone a favour and the shites are all over it, wtf has happened to the world
  6. Very mate, taught me a big lesson.
  7. I used to be an avid walker and climber, mountain leader trained the lot. One day I was out walking and same as you, mist down and hadn't taken a bearing and lost. Thought I had taken the right route and ended up taking the route down Piers Ghyll off Scafell Pike instead of the path, got half way down and fell , fell down a waterfall and thankfully like you, my rucksack hit the deck before me. Tore a chunk out of my arse, a gash in my head and was in a mess. After 2 hours stuck there I got enough anger flowing to start climbing again and was met by mountain rescue who had been alerted to my
  8. I have not had one yet that didn't do what I wanted , luckily, but I have failed to make the grade with one. Personal circumstances with a premature baby with severe lung issues meant I had to pass the dog on as any hair was a severe issue. Gutted wasn't the word as it had just made the grade .
  9. Thanks for the link, I get the feeling it is going to go for a good price .
  10. Without lads like yourself and ziggy, that would have been one dead dog, another good result for the club
  11. Seen a few of those vids, dogs a machine mate
  12. Close to camera on a wide angle lens, look at his fingers they are really big near the head, still a fair sized fox but it's not the giant it first appears .
  13. Spent the last few months looking round for a pup. Was out of the game for a long time due to domestic situation but now the terrier is starting to do her job I have been looking for a running dog to add. In the past I was a collie x fan, had an early Hancock , had long dogs and pures. Loved the saluki stuff I had but haven't got the work for a coursing dog now. So looking for a pot filler that may turn their hand to the odd bit of other stuff now and then. Thought about 3/4 wheaten grey , 3/4 bedlingtongrey or better still a 3/4 or 5/8 collie grey but looks like few strains openly about . I
  14. Having had a coursing greyhound back in the day, I think a lot of people underestimate the fire in the right dogs. Mine hated foxes more than anything and at 28" and solid it didn't take long to do what needed to be done, obviously this was preban when coursing greyhounds were out there. Also did 20's on the lamp and a half decent hare dog. Added to that mix I think you will have some quality pups.
  15. Had a saluki grey, was lovely with people but mad protective of the two black terriers I had . Going back some years a lab turned on One of the terriers in some woods near to where we lived . He flew into it and shook it like no tomorrow. By the time myself and its owner got to it was too late. From that point he was an utter liability around strange dogs. Made it a night mare working him . This was pre ban and as well as long ears he was mustard around a hole but I couldn't take anyone else with another dog. Had him pts to keep the piece after he ripped lumps out of a crufts standard rottie.
  16. Always sad to lose a good un. RIP lass
