  1. Jack I think your main problem its getting a pair of gills that you can breed off they are hard to come by. Finding kits for sale will be easy but will put your program back by at least a year. Have you a mate who has some gills you could use your hob on and then have a couple of gill kits of the litter to keep your line going. Cheers Arry
  2. That a cracking Kingfisher shot mate. Cheers Arry

Snow Drops at my lads place are out and he's on the edge of the Moors. The wife reckoned she saw Blue Tits pulling apart next doors pampas grass. Its nuts the frost hasn't even killed some of last years Tomato plants picked 3 Sungold tomatoes on Christmas day and 2 on New years day. Cheers Arry

  6. Have a look at a Panasonic DMC-FZ150 it has a 24x zoom which I think i'm right in saying is equivalent to a 600mm zoom. It takes a pretty photo and easy to use its called a bridge camera, it has been superseded now and that camera has a bigger chip. Hope this might help. Cheers Arry

    Log burner

I have a Coalbrookdale Little Wenlock MK 1 multi fuel burner with a back boiler been outside under a tarp for about a year if anybody wants it come and get it. Its bloody heavy and would need one of them three wheel sack trucks to get it down my steps. Fitting instructions are inside it was used for two or three years from new. The back boiler can be filled with sand iv'e been told if you don't want to use it, don't now if thats right. Cheers Arry

    Gutted

Bolting fist size kits yesterday and nearly half of the rabbits are ready to drop, its was early last year but this year its ridiculous. No real season at all, its been so mild only had about four frosts and only one of them got the ground hard no snow just a raw wind for a few days loads of rain and wind. As jay jay says "seasons are all to hell" could not agree more. Cheers Arry

  21. When I was a kid you would go out all day for a brace of rabbits or a really good day might be four around here, so could be going round in cycles. Three years ago maybe average of say 12 or so with a good day in the low 20's, last year bit of a drop average 9 or 10 and a good day 15. This year average maybe 6 or 7 and the best good day so far 9. We had that RHD on two farms and the trouble is there is a green lane going through them and I think the dirt bikes and horses are spreading the virus around its very very contagious, it can stay active in the soil for nine months. So if a rabbit move
  22. I went on holiday last year and set up a drip feed irrigation from my water butt, worked a treat. I think its for hanging baskets etc and designed to work off the mains, the tap on my water butt is an old mains one so it just clipped on. Cheers Arry
