This isn't really coin cutting. I would this silver spoon and the gold pen nib detecting and wondered if I could do something with them. This is what I have come up with for Wifey. Bit more touching up and bit more polishing. Cheers Arry

It's Borr's description of small homemade burgers and they were bloody lovely. Crinkly chips are quite a new thing in our house as I usually do triple cooked Maris piper homemade chips. But them crinkly one are really nice if done in a chip pan. You have to dunk them for about two minutes then get them out and bring the oil up to 180c again. Cheers Arry

So, Tell Us, What Are Ye All At In The Veg Garden?
Arry replied to JohnGalway's topic in Living Off The Land & Game Cooking
Been growing large Onions for a few years now Charts. Was using Suttons "Exhibition" and getting some nice size ones up to 2.5 lb's. But the last two years I was getting crap germination with Suttons. So I've switch to Premier Seeds and germination was really good. I'm surprised as well they store really well. A old plumber working on the same building site as me grew big onions for show and wrote down instructions for me. Of coarse that bit of paper is long gone. But I remember him saying put your onion seed Christmas Day. Wish I could remember all the feed instructions. Cheers Arr -

Just bought some Clover Irish moss peat myself Charts for the first time, got to say it looks good. I used to use Vitax peat for years but the nursery I get it off has closed down. Sow my big onions towards the end of next month, so we will see what kind of germination I get. Cheers Arry -

Morrisons or at least the one in my town, and thats all we have. The aisles are quite narrow compared with some others in other towns near by. But twats that have their brains turned off blocking the aisles by have a trolly at arms length or blocking 3 metres of shelves. Groups that block the aisles chatting oblivious to other people. People that leave a trolly in the way and go off to another aisle, I like to move them to a different place. Another thing when I want a fresh uncut loaf and theres only yesterday on display. You ask for a fresh one and they say theres bead on display. I don

Went to the Cattleman's Steakhouse tonight. I went for the 16oz Tomahawk. The black square stone the meat is on is mega hot and you leave the meat on the stone till its done the way you like. You have another plate to eat off. Wifey went for the Lamb kebabs. Cheers Arry

I feed raw twice a day but not in their hutch as I find they take meat bones into the nest box. know people that have lost ferrets to botulism, problems from food hidden in the nest box. But who knows for sure. I have a run on the lawn with pipes and hammock and old carrying box. it's covered over the top with polly tunnel plastic. After the evening feed I put a hand full of Alpha kibbles in a bowl, never any left. The one thing I think kibbles is good for is there teeth, it seems to keep the plaque off their teeth. having a mix I think improves their stools as well, firmer not runny.

I'm lucky mate the farm and shop is only abut 3 miles away. Good old breed and you can see them running around the fields and how well they are kept. Not the cheapest but in my view worth every penny. They had some cracking looking T bone steaks the last time I was there I regret not getting a couple. Still theres aways next time. Cheers Arry

Tasty Walt. I buy my pork there as you can see the Tamworth pigs running around. It is good tasting pork and it has a nice colour to it. The only down side is its carries a bit of fat. Cheers Arry
