I'm 99% sure this is "The Miller" but that 1% there is a similar DEADLY mushroom called "The Ivory Funnel" so think I'll pass just not worth it. Cheers Arry

Out to see what about. Surprised just how much has come on since last week. Good little haul really, nice few "Chanterelle's" and some a few "Field Mushrooms" a few Boletes. Chanterelle's don't really have gill they are more like ripples and they cut white. Stalks are quite firm to touch. In my opinion this is the "Butter Bolete" supposed to be as good as a "Cep", I'll get my mate to try it Lol. Cheers Arry

This IMO is "The Rooting Bolete" classed as inedible, the sponge pores under the cap bruise blue almost instantly. When cut turns blue very quickly. Cheers Arry

Yea if we have the back stop then we are still in the bloody EU. As for May's Deal it's a crap deal and you got to be able to walk away from a bad deal. Parliament will not vote through any deal now as the majority of MP's want to remain in. The EU will not open the Deal up again for discussion. So what are we left with? Simple NO DEAL ! So lets get on with democracy and get out of the corrupted mafia still bloody EU. Cheers Arry

If there's a dead one inside then is a small predator, Mink, Stoat, Ferret or maybe a Weasel any of them could walk through that fencing. If it were a fox there would be no head on that Chicken. Think Jok is right chicken wire 3' up the outside with a 12" buried under the turf in an L shape, if you get what I mean. Set a Mink/Rabbit cage trap outside the fence maybe. Best of luck with it Pesky. (Sorry mate for wrong name) Cheers Arry

Back in December 2017 I posted a thread "Strange pop up Scams". I was get shit stuff popping up when ever I was on here, and I know it was only on here. Think ie was Walsie that advised to down load an Adblocker which worked. This one was the one recommended. No problems ever since, except some New Paper sites ask you to turn it off to view their sites. https://adblockplus.org Cheers Arry

What get me is Leo Eric Varadkar has been one of the biggest shit stirrers when it comes to a Brexit deal when Ireland exports more to the UK than any body else. Why should the UK be dictated by 27 other countries by putting every thing in the way to try and make us remain. We voted leave and leave it is, as the EU deal has been voted down many time in parliament and has not chance of going through in it's present state. The EU will not talk about reopening the deal, so the only option is to leave with out a deal. The EU 27 are just trying to dictate to us and bully us in to staying

Out for a mooch stuff just starting, rain this week end and for a few day so next week should start to see some fungi. Chicken of the Woods, but slugs have made a right mess of it. Would have tried this Bolete as there is no turning blue, but full of maggots. Cheers Arry

I stand corrected mate. Must admit I did presume as it is a reservoir that it was water company. Atb. Cheers Arry

Easy to say in hind sight, in my view better safe than sorry. What it does look like though is poor inspections and poor maintenance, there were weeds growing in the joints in some of the coverage. If weeds can grow in-between the concrete slabs then you can get water ingress, which caused this cock up. The water company just want to take our money. I think I'm right in saying they have not built a new large reservoir since it was privatised, and now looking like they don't maintain the ones they do have. Cheers Arry
