Retired now but was self employed most of my working life, but for about 8 years I work in a factory doing shifts on the production line and hated it. Then got on the maintenance team in the same factory, better but I hated the shifts. IMO shift work Fecks you up. Was never happier than when I was self employed. Cheers Arry

As nobody has answered thought I would. Used to have about 500 pots on the Dart in Devon but have given them up now for a few reasons. Do you have muddy rivers or a estuary near you. Because collecting peeler crab is not that hard really, bit back breaking. All the pots are is bit of guttering or ridge tiles pushed into the mud about 45 Degrees open end back to the shore as far out near the channel as you can get. Even old car tyres that you might see on the river bank will hold them, or under the weed on the fore shore. Best way to test if its a peeler is hold the crab and put the last sectio

Don't know if this little fella is okay, was on a wall at my sisters place. They ofter get birds hit their window might be one that has. Think it's a Sparrow Hawk that comes in and the birds scatter. Cheers Arry

Ha Ha Fred, No mate, But ! Its was not your average suit and tie job. My Lad and his wife live on the side of Dartmoor in his in-laws thatched farm house surrounded by a few fields then woodland. Wedding was in a field the food, Drink Bar and Band in the Barn, The Pig Roast was 50 yards or so up the drive keep away from the smoke, the lads in charge had the hats on keep the smoke off a bit. So looking back made the Waltons look clean cut Lol. Brilliant day wish all weddings were like it. Cheers Arry

We have a great little High Street, still have four butchers, Green Grocers, Bakery's, Cheese Shop, Pasty shops. Too many Galleries and Charity shops and Jewellery shops and Cafe's Lol. But its still alive no Costa, Mac Donalds or KFC. But the locals support the High Street and we are very lucky that they do. As for the Labour Party they are blinkered they are not listening and still think they have it right. The only thing they are after is a General Election, playing their political games all the way through this. Steptoe with his Donavan hat flared jeans ban the bomb badge scruffy c**

As I said in the Brexit thread IMO Domonic Raab, I know he's not liked by the hunting fraternity but I think he's the only one for the job. We need someone that believes in Brexit, because May didn't believe in it. I personally think he's got the ball to pull it off. Cheers Arry

Personally think if we left with no deal the next day assorts of deals would done. You can't do a deal that you can't walk away from if it's no good, that crazy. They must have been laughing their socks off when Parliament vote to take no deal off the table. Secondhand car dealers would love that scenario. Cheers Arry

Trouble with Theresa May is IMO she tried to do it all her self. There was always some thing shady about the way she pull the rug from under David Davidson and Dominic Raab both when they were Brexit minister. She took control her self and cut a crap deal, alway feel she was up to some thing or the EU told her to call the dogs off. Both Davidson and Raab had the EU rocking on their heels with a hard line approach. Personally I would like to see Raab replace her. Cheers Arry

I look at like this Fred if they was in the wild they would have to hunt by hem selves by the early winter. So if I have kits say in early May I would start them steady in mid September, this has always worked for me. Cheers Arry

Always say to them people that say that they don't vote, Don't moan about the Government or what ever if you don't vote. Somewhere on the news recently in some country they had to vote by law. Cheers Arry

I can't remember mate but did look forward to getting them picking them up from the train station. I laughed after posting I had sort of a flash back with dad ordering day old chicks that came in a square cardboard box and opening he box in the kitchen and them running every where under the cooker etc. Had feck all but good times.
