I thought I introduced them into my garden when I used to collect peeler crabs for bait, I used to cover the crabs with sea weed from the foreshore. They look the same as them sand hoppers under stones on the fore shore and beaches. I had them in the garden for years now, they do not seem to do any harm at all as far as I can see. If you move a plant pot or a stack of logs they are every where. What I have noticed is I have more slow worms, I don't know weather this is connected but sure they would be good food for them. Weather I did introduce them I don't know, but the neighbours moan

Why is it that the BBC and Sky hold their interviews with the EU flags flying in the back ground and anti democratic morons shouting in the back ground. Surely they are not bias are they? Annoys the shit out of me, when I'm trying to listen to the interview. Also why do they give so much time to the anti democratic groups? Cheers Arry

Honest mate you don't need many imo they are the best bait, I'm only trying to help. I've had really good results I'm getting on now and don't go much these days. I promise you I was a well known angler and only trying to help. Frozen is okay but as all frozen goes soft. Pilchards are just as good and saw them in Morrisons last week. Cheers Arry

Sums it up don't the Lib/ Anti Democratic Party how arrogant can you get. Cheers Arry

Yes mate harbours and part way up the rivers. Open coast. The most enjoyable way to fish imo is free line over the weed on a flood tide so your bait is hanging just over the outside line of weed (if you get what I mean) but not on the bottom, works really well in the Salcombe estuary mate. Had some crackers there over 6lb. Sprat fillet mate top bait by a country mile, start with the tail end stitch the hook in and out to the head end of the fillet till the hook is clear, then pinch finger and thumb above the fillet slide down towards the hook and you should have a ball of sprat on the hoo

Well it's Boris. Let's see if he can put his money where his mouth is. Cheers Arry

Some of the best fishing and biggest Mullet I've had is using sprat fillet by far the best bait in salt water, free lining or float fishing. Ground bait is fish skins and frames but they have to be tried to a stone to stop the mullet lifting them and drifting off in the tide. In brackish water ie like up at Totnes I used bread flake over bread / bran ground bait, the bran sparkles as it drops through the water. A little trick worth a try is float fishing with two traces tried to a single swivel one three inches shorter then the other bit like a wish bone but no beads, often get a fish on

Yea mate I got high blood pressure. Didn't know I had it till I had one of them medicals because I drove machines and forklifts. Took about two years to get the pills right, stable now. Did tell me if I gave up drink etc etc, sorry to say that didn't happen. Cheers Arry

Superstitious folk fishermen. Worked on fishing a fishing boat for a while, they told me they didn't like a Priest or Boss eyed women on the Quay. Whistling was well frowned on as you will whistle up the wind, the old sailing ships would get becalmed and whistle because they wanted the wind. Rabbits feck you never mention them some might call them "Bush Congers" to get around using the word rabbit. Was told that in most ports (especially in the south west) you worked on fishing boat or in Quarry's, lot of quarry men killed by rabbits disturbing rocks and stones from above in the old days

My lad wife's parents had Ridgebacks nice dogs mate, Good luck with that one. Cheers Arry

Well seems they have just vote and Boris or Hunt will not be able to fully suspend parliament. So it's back to Stalemate. MP's now know all they have to do is keep voting any deal down and we never leave. Only hope is the Brexit Party. Cheers Arry

Mines the same Sarah Wollaston was in favour of leave then changed her mind to remain. Walked across the floor from Tory to the new Change Party. Now left the Change Party to become an Independent MP. Now talking about becoming a Lib - Dem. No wonder we can't get a decision on Brexit. Cheers Arry

Think I misunderstood where you were coming from. I don't know how mate. But if they suspend parliament to do it I'd be happy with that. Christ this does need sorting. We need to move on. Don't think I could trust any MP's any more. They have deserted the people. Cheers Arry

Well lets hope somebody get us out of the EU and I don't care how they do it. Our Mp's are not prepared to up hold the result of the democratic referendum. The EU only want to give us a crap deal. Michel Barnier on the box today saying May's deal is the only deal and it's not up for negotiation and leave at your peril, or words to that affect. So what are we left with. Oh okay we will say in and remain and you can carry on fleecing us. Or tell the EU to stuff it. Leave with no deal is the only option now the b*****ds will never give a good deal. Get us out. Cheers Arry
