I'm chuffed the slow worms are back. I have a compost pile that I leave and there used to be loads of slow worms but a rat dug into it in the winter and must have fed on them, but they are coming back. The rat will not be back or a least not that one. Cheers Arry

Bloody hell you would not think that possible in them temperatures as well. All I can think is the Bears body heat helped to keep him alive. Cheers Arry

If you get a Bulls Eye rash after a tick has been removed get off to the Doctors. This is a useful tool for removing them as using tweezers can leave the head imbedded in the skin or worse you could squeeze some of the blood it's fed on back into you or you dogs body. the tools are like minute jemmy's you hook them over the head and twist. IMO we all think we have the answer, I still give this subject a lot of thought. Personally I give them a feed of mince beef in the morning and in the evening about 12 grams each feed for each ferret. This I do while they are in a run that's on the lawn with tubes box hammock etc, they can't run of to the nest box and hind it. If they go back in the hutch then I have a bowl of JWB or Alpha and after the evening feed in the run again a hand full of the same. I have never fed rabbit apart from heads when they where young and livers heart kidneys, they do get an egg once a week. The theory with n

These were right across the valley near Widecombe in the Moor. Must be a mile as the crow flies, but I was chuffed I spotted them. The first photo is 24 x zoom. The second is using some thing call intelligent zoom all I had. Which is probably just digital zoom, I can't remember. Pretty poor really job to hold the camera still at that range. Cheers Arry

It's all down to the flees then carry. The ones we caught last winter had no or little flees and only a slight indication of mixie I was so torn as to well as to kill them or not. I let them live in a hope it will be the best for the Rabbit. Cheers Arry
-
I know mate thats why I said in two minds, Torn between helping them long term and putting them out of their misery, which is what I usually do but often wonder if it's the right thing. If you know what I mean. Cheers Arry
-
I'm in two minds about killing them as if a few get over it they might get an immunity to it and they're young if they breed. It's bloody hard though when you see the poor buggers suffering though. We were catching some last winter that showed some signs like they might be getting over it, right through the season when we went back the same all on the same ground if you catch my drift. Or it was a really weak strain. Cheers Arry

Some chicken thighs skined and chopped into cubes, fried off(could use breasts) one medium onion diced and fried till soft, here's the cheat one tin of Campbells condensed soup Cream of Chicken and a half of soup tin of water a hand full of peas. A roll of puff pastry. Cheers Arry
