Not talking muff diving. I personally would like to see some nice photo's of Red Throated and Grey Throated Divers that you get on the high ponds, but have probable left by now. Cheers Arry

    Golden Eagles.

Thanks Gav nice little write up mate. Get the wife out with you with the camera, would be nice to see a Red Deer stag from up there and them Divers you get on the high ground ponds. Cheers Arry
  5. I stand corrected mate. Must admit I did presume as it is a reservoir that it was water company. Atb. Cheers Arry
  6. Easy to say in hind sight, in my view better safe than sorry. What it does look like though is poor inspections and poor maintenance, there were weeds growing in the joints in some of the coverage. If weeds can grow in-between the concrete slabs then you can get water ingress, which caused this cock up. The water company just want to take our money. I think I'm right in saying they have not built a new large reservoir since it was privatised, and now looking like they don't maintain the ones they do have. Cheers Arry
  7. Leeks looking okay except one that looks like its on LSD. The winter Purple Sprouting is looking very uniformed which I'm pleased about. Cheers Arry
  8. Garden up date. Tom's are great, Cucumbers thought I had over watered looking a bit sad, turns out I was under watering (same symptoms). Runners gone mad. Carrots doing well. Cheers Arry
  9. Seem to have loads of Gatekeepers this year. Cheers Arry
  10. Nice photos mate. Worth framing that rainbow coloured leaf well nice that. I've only a bridge myself Nicepix (Panasonic Lumix FZ150) but very flattered you putting me in that league. I would love a DSLR with a range of good lenses but have to many hobbies. To be honest it's not a bad little camera the FZ150 it's light has a good Leica lens. It's great what wildlife is just in the garden. Cheers Arry
  11. Not much beauty in this baking tray, made me laugh though. Sunday did a nice joint of belly pork, cooked it slow for 3 hours then whacked the heat up high for 30 mins to get some good crackling. Well when I took it out all was good except wifey moaning at the smitch of the baking tray, so I put it outside to cool off. Of course I forgot it, wifey called me outside to see this. A Hedgehog had been in it and the walked up the path with little greasy footprints every were. I'm alway in the shit just varies in depth. Lol. Cheers Arry

  19. Nice sharp pictures Andy as always. Cheers Arry
  20. At one time I used to be keen as hell on Small Eyed Ray fishing and Spotted Ray, climbing down cliffs to fish rocks or beaches. Also Thornbacks from rivers and estuaries. That brought loads back so many memories thanks. Cheers Arry
  21. Talking about ferrets playing, any you guy let them play with ping pong balls. They shuffle backwards with the ball underneath like a badger collecting straw or lay on their back with the ball on their stomach like a sea otter. Funny to watch. Cheers Arry
  22. Got them looking real nice Socks. I could sit for an hour to two with a cup of tea watching ferrets running around playing. Cheers Arry
  23. Smooth hounds seem to be turning up more and more. 20 years ago we would have had to go up to Westward Hoe to catch one, now they seem every were. Cheers Arry
