  1. Like said MIK you could be getting IR bouncing back off the barrel try a figure of 8 mount, fitted right far back see if that helps.
  2. I'm sure mines fitted with medium mounts bilbo .
  3. I have mine mounted to a CZ452 american, using standard 30mm mounts and it fits no problem, comes far enough back to provide the right eye relief also. Only problem you should have is run out of the cross hairs, which you may need to shim the mounts to get them central.
  4. Get some muckboot muckmasters mate, warm, easy to get on and off, cheap enough.
  5. Yes Darren agree, drag them in were you want them, then set snares, dead rabbit or whatever out of the way.
  6. As already said, mount the torch as far back on the scope as possible, if you have a sunshade fit it to the scope and also get some black insulation tape and cover the bottom portion of the scopes front objective to stop light bouncing in off the barrel and mod, makes a massive difference.
  7. Yes mate, I was using blue tips and one didn't ignite correctly and got stuck in the barrel without me noticing, blew the stock apart, Edgar brothers repaired the rifle, replacing what they needed too and also replaced the blue tips I had. I'm always very cautious now with every shot, if there's. Crack it fine, if it's a pffft then I check the barrel Regardless of this dodgy situation there still the best tool for me when shooting a lot of rabbits out to 150yds, and there ideal for doing this with night vision. To be honest it's all I use at this stage In the season.
  8. I have a .22 hornet and a .17 HMR , to be honest I thought the hornet would be my go to round for the odd fox and then rabbits, but the number of rabbits I'm shooting, it becomes a pain reloading for the hornet, I can get through a lot of rounds. The HMR comes into its own with shooting big bags of rabbits with night vision for me were range is difficult to judge, its so easy to just grab a few boxes of HMR rounds that cost £12 for 50 than reload 150 .22 hornet rounds, which becomes a right time consuming exercise. If I'm going round a place that doesn't hold a massive amount of rabbits, I
  9. You would be better off with an NT300 or Ward 700 near eye display unit to be honest.
  10. I use these https://www.7dayshop.com/products/7dayshop-aa-ni-mh-high-performance-rechargeable-batteries-2900-8-pack-2x4-WH2-DS-102 you do get the odd duff battery, I think certain battery chargers, especially the faster chargers kill batteries quicker, the duralocks are meant to be pretty good too.
  11. Nice one Barry , glad you like it any problems give me a shout, I agree there a total game changer, can't remember the last time I used a lamp or torch, I'm using the same model myself as well, nice meeting you mate.
  12. Where they hanging out? Might f**k off there myself! Lol A I know where Glenn, Woodga and others hang out these day's! A lot more laid back, where you can stick up a pic or two, and not get hung drawn and quartered for it! If you like posting hunting images on facebook go for it. I dont think Colin or Glen are actively putting hunting/trapping related images on there.
  13. In all honesty I've taken a look through one of them rangefinders and the range and image quality even with IR torch added were horrendous.
  14. The T38 and T20 will give the same performance there both the same lens size, just the T38 has a smaller torch body. The T50 has a larger lens and is probably the biggest you would want to go in the T range of torches, the T67 is a heavy lump and personally I'd avoid it and but something else if you want even more throw still, i.e an x-searcher or wolf eyes seal, much better imo.
  15. What model of Cobra is it, your best option is a laser using a cobra, you might want to try one of starlight nv's fireflys ?
  16. Voted Shannon, can we see these episodes online anywhere or is it just the clips shown on the site?
  17. I've had the opposite Hutchey, they have been excellent in everything that has had any slight problem, and exchanged it instantly if found...have you never thought that there may not actually be anything wrong with the said faulty units if TJ are saying it also, either like I say because the issue is caused by weather or people wanting to get upgrades, etc..???
  18. The T67 is monstrous . What are you fitting it too BF that requires so much light that you want to clobber one of them on?
  19. David I take it from your signature you have an N870, how far do you want to see as a standard oslon will easy give you 200-250 yards easy in the likes of a nightmaster. In all honesty I'm not a massive fan of the T range of torches, apart from the compact T20/T38 but thats just my opinion, everyones going mad for these AS leds, the big benefit is more light for a rear mounted add on fitted to a dayscope the likes of a digisight or drone doesn't really need even more, people just go crazy.. Try here, free postage if you do want an AS led. http://www.ludicrous-lumens.co.uk/T_series_Oslon_
  20. Also looks like a CZ bolt, contact Edgar Brothers for spares, if you do need anything http://www.edgarbrothers.com/
  21. Are you sure its not need a good clean some ammunition is very waxy like Eley, this doesn't help when ejecting, I've also found certain brands to not eject properly, I had a bad batch of winchester at one point that always seemed to jam the empty shell at the wrong moment... try some different ammo if you haven't already.
  22. I'm sure I've read a couple of bits were they were piping on about performance, saying there not working as they were when they got them..The weather plays a big part in identification range and performance if its pissing down, misty or foggy the image quality and range is affected. I take it people have tried sending them back to TJ as faulty and they have said there's nothing wrong with them. Out of all the distributors, I'd say there exceptional when it comes to repairs and replacement items, if there's something genuinely wrong they replace it.
  23. Not had any issues with mine In two years use and it's been well used. What issues have they had hutchey?
