  1. Heads shots on rabbits no problem, the above video is what you get and plus, awesome bit of kit well worth the money, there is is lot of user settings you can play with as well.My outlook on life now because i'm at that age lol,is (you only live this life ones). I don't know what ranges that video was taken at, but it's not what I would call clearly defined for head shooting, possibly because of the mag, as you can see the heads well enough at whatever range that was, if I compare that video to my nv, I prefer my setup for clarity, but I see a definite advantage the thermal has spotting thing
  2. I have one on my .243 rifle, its a great dedicated scope. Carl is a top bloke, you wont go wrong with the Drone, built like a proverbial tank also, none of this plastic xshitey stuff, blows the pants off it.
  3. I use a shot sled to single load rounds longer than factory COL, the 527 magazine is crap to be honest, mine used to jam a lot.
  4. I'm using the 35grain vmax mate, but my friend uses the 40gr and swears by them..
  5. I got a 527 secondhand off guntrader a few year back in pristine condition with a T4 mod, like said there a cracking little round, with minimal noise report. Every CZ I own is really light, from the 452 american, synthetic and 527. Varmint options are much heavier, personally I don't like them. I load my hornet with either 12.3 gr of H110 or Lil Gun.
  6. Battery life depends on if your using rcr123a batteries or an EPS3 pack.. with the EPS 3 it will last all night left on, with RCR123 will last around 2-3hrs on. Dry colder nights give the best detail and contrast, but its usable in all conditions to be honest, its much better than the likes of an XD50S monocular as a comparison.
  7. No these are dedicated thermal monoculars. Theres a different model coming out this year called the Core, this can be front mounted to a scope and also used as a monocular when removed, but its more expensive than the other models.
  8. Hello mate I have one fitted to my .243, they are a brilliant addition and totally transform the rifle and help no end with a solid mount and accuracy. There a little tight to fit, but once tightened up, it pulls everything together nicely.
  9. As everyone else has stated go for the slimmer/lighter american variant in either 452 or 455. Preference wise, I'd go for the 16" Synthetic/Nickel/Style option also. Stick a trigger kit in it, and you will have a real tack driving work horse.
  10. Walshie you would be better off mounting a weaver adaptor to the tube, then mounting the torch with an adjustable mount, so its inline with the photon not on the side.Or you could use a bog standard figure 8 mount on the tube, quick to attach and remove, only downside its not adjustable .
  11. Is the site working ok for everyone now.
  12. That looks like a n1000 laser David, it should of been supplied with a weaver style mount like this one.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IR-laser-Illuminator-For-Tubed-and-Digital-Night-Vision-/141900363214?hash=item2109ebb5ce:g:~hEAAOSwll1Wu2It

  14. Nick this is what you need http://www.nightvisionstore.co.uk/ward-d-video-out-lead-c2x14686515
  15. This did work and it cloned my wifi settings but it was very intermittent in use, I've read from other users who had similar issues. To be honest there's not a massive choice when looking in the UK, I may just get stick another wifi router upstairs instead as I have a ethernet lead upstairs from the virgin box.
  16. Anyone recommend a decent power line adaptor set, I've been using a tp link setup but there pretty pants for connection issues with wifi, the Devolo ones are meant to be better, any suggestions from other people's experiences.
  17. The best way is to ask "real" people who use them, and asking on a forum like you have is probably your best bet, but saying that some of the comments I have read on certain facebook groups, well it just makes my whole theory a lie, theres a LOT that talk total crap, but you just need to weed through them.
  18. David just many years experience of using guns for a purpose. Ask yourself when was the last time you EVER read a bad review in any publication, it doesn't happen does it, why? There all either getting freebies, advert revenue, etc they are totally biased. That video is horrendous, your going by that donkeys opinions...FFS, Go and buy one , why ask peoples opinion, seems like your minds made up
  19. The Browning T bolt is a bag of wank to be honest. Every person I know with one is not happy with them and either wants rid or have got rid. The trigger is really bad.. The CZ 452 stick a trigger kit in buy a carbine verson your not going to get much better at just doing its job, and the triggers are much much better. As far as I know the t bolt adjustment, still leaves the trigger stiff as hell, and there are no kits for them.
  20. How are people getting on with the Browning T Bolts to be honest the people I know who have owned them have not been happy with them, the build in general and the triggers real bad.
  21. I don't think its accurate to be honest, I know of places were muntjac have been for the last 10 year or more and there not shown on it.
  22. Cracking job Matt , as already said that looks the dogs danglies.
