  1. Send a link to a product online and it will be matched Tremo. To be honest its better for rimfire/centrefire ranges as its higher mag, which will give a better image at distance, the lower mag xt 4.2 will give more field of view which may be better for close range work like ratting.
  2. The photons should arrive in stock this Friday the 22nd of May for anyone with orders.
  3. These are great, just got one off my mate he had spare..really solid cheek rest and easy to remove.. http://www.amazon.com/Voodoo-Tactical-Adjustable-Cheek-Carrier/dp/B007FFM40W/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8
  4. Try these Panasonic http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_sop=15&LH_BIN=1&_nkw=panasonic+18650&rt=nc&LH_PrefLoc=1
  5. We were getting a high load due to a ukranian IP connection on the home page, the IP has now been banned should be ok now..
  6. Are you after 18650 batteries Cedric, just do a search for panasonic 18650 on ebay.
  7. I'll use both mate, the hornet is more versatile, but theres no way I'm reloading like crazy for the rabbits, its easier to just pick a box of ammo up if your shooting 100 rounds a night off. .17 hornet Ian. Flatter shooing than .22 hornet and ready to go off the shelf. Only possible issue is ammo cost - 25 rounds cost around £23 or the same as 20 rounds of .223. Rounds are too expensive mate, if I shot a 100 rabbits it would cost me £100 neigh on,not viable really, compared to £26 with the HMR..
  8. Yes theres quite a lot around mate, different types of land, most are not easy to get at..I drove round a dairy farm a couple of year back and shot over 250, takes the enjoyment out of it totally..

  10. Anyone know where I can get an RCBS #12 shell holder for hornet brass from in the UK?
  11. What .22 have you got Martin, there must be some for of mounts you could add to it.. The HMR/NV combination is great especially if you have a drone, the 10x mag is perfect with a HMR for more precision, you can wack the rabbits down back end of the season at range, no problem. I have a thermal fitted to the motor as well with a monitor inside so my mate can spot them as well, then its off the bonnet with the rifle.
  12. Yes Cedric these have probably had 4 loads through them, so probably like yours.. I've got a load of lil gun here, but I'm using the rest of my H110 up first 12.3 grains seems best for me...I've just trimmed the cases for the first time as well as some had went slightly over...
  13. I had one and sold it on to my brother in law...but I bought another purely for night vision and rabbits, because of its flat shooting that takes any error out of rangefinding when shooting rabbits, it sure helps with mopping them up back end of the season..
  14. Its the original one Martin with doubler, its been back to Carl at NVgear and had the reticule updated to the latest ladder style which is much better. There a cracking night vision scope. Never weight an individual box, but might now you have said..
  15. I've been reloading for the hornet for awhile now and recently the rounds were getting very tight to chamber with the bolt and when ejecting the bolt was stiff. The rounds were new winchesters, which I reloaded with hornady 35 grain heads, I only neck sized the rounds when reloading, but I ended up having to full length resize the full case, its now much better, anyone else had this or just neck sized from the off with no problems..?
  16. Just an update, the XT 6.5 Photon's are due into the country end of this month, for anyone who has ordered or is looking at buying.
  17. For anyone looking for a quality thermal at a very good price. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/store/night-vision/thermal-imaging/pulsar-hd38s-thermal-imager.html
  18. Don't see how this fits in the discussion on the safety of using the HMR. The rifle should be lethal on its quarry, not on its user.... Simple.... Many of us, and I include myself, get a bit complacent after a few years incident free shooting. It takes an accident like the one described to wake us up a bit. If the shooter concerned was paying more attention, he would have noticed that a shot did not sound quite right and not fired a second round until investigating what happened to the first. It would only take a moment to remove the bolt and take a look up the barrel. How
  19. Thats it been taken back to the RFD to get sent back after the weekend.Hopefully a speedy return.
  20. Strange thing it always seems to be the HMR with jams and kneck trouble.
  21. Liam heres the setup I use on my Hw100, no wires or screens. The 6.5x versions should be here in May.
  22. Sounds like a knackered driver, possibly from putting batteries in the wrong way.
  23. I had one before and passed it onto my brother in law, because the groups were all over, but he's getting on good with it, I needed something flat shooting for rabbits back end of the season when there flighty, so got a hornet, which is great...but its not great if your using a lot of rounds and reloading, so I went back to a HMR for ease, as it did what I needed with nightvision on the rabbits.. I'll be confident using a replacement but it will always be in the back of my mind, I was speaking to the dealer I got it off today and he mentioned it had happened with an anschutz as well, but from
