No good can ever come from a "type" becoming a "breed" when registered with the Kennel Club. Some gundog breeds, OK, but their jobs are not that demanding. I tried to get a russell a few yr back. tried all hunt terriermen I knew or mates of mates. mainly down south because they ‘seemed’ more popular. Couldnt buy one. Im a Yorkshireman btw. ended up gifted a crossbred bitch which is family I have now. hens teeth good russels. I know they exist but I wasnt worthy ATB T
