    drives me mad , I've had traps , cover boards and markers all go , I moan about it for a couple of days then just crack on , what else can you do.

    Horses for courses really , not much noticeable difference between the two . For the last nineteen years I've shot a silver pigeon game gun with 28" barrels choked quarter and half , it has been used for all types of game/rough shooting including pigeon shooting and bolting bunnies , plus I have fired 1000's of cartridges at clays for fun/practice and competitions including events such as the British Open. Pick a gun , handle it , have confidence in it and you will hit most of what you aim in front off, most of all enjoy it and spread the word.

    Glad I never bothered with them , I've just slowly built up the mole catching business by word of mouth , the dear old boy who taught me had been catching for 40 years plus and never been on a " course ",or been part of any mole catching organisation , maybe some of them work for some people , but they are not for me.

    good luck , but no thanks, the ferret club i'm in has even had ferrets and equipment stolen when they have been showing at various country fairs.

    After 35 years of field sports , i'm just about ready to do my DSC-1 , never done any stalking before . So , I am after any recommendations as to how/where to get started and take my DSC-1 in Norfolk, thanks in advance .

    Wow what an opportunity , I wish I could find something similar in Norfolk , I would willingly pay for all the courses if there was a job at the end of it.someone will really fall on their feet , good luck , hope you find the right person.

    definitely best to get at least two , they love company and if nothing else they can keep each other warm during the cooler months.

    I shoot .22lr open sighted at targets , mostly at 25yrds , but we do get on an outside range for longer stuff , great / cheap-ish fun.

    I've had ferrets with mild hair loss before , always put it down to , too many raw eggs in their diet. after the bad luck I've had with ferret health problems lately I would take her to the vets , better to be safe than sorry.
