  3. Thats why i use the bailer twine , to most people they wouldn't give a piece of string sticking an inch or two out off the ground a second look.
  4. If you send emm to me ,I'll even pay the postage .... .
  5. A piece of orange bailer twine , tie it to the trap and thread it just onto the surface.
  6. One more thing , this is very important , when you set a duffus always kneel by the right side of it , never the left . Hope that helps, happy hunting.
  7. Sure we all do that , to one extent or another , after the tweeks i leave mine set over night to see if i have fiddled too much with them , we just don't bother to post such things . Like that we can keep mole catching as a dark art that is impossible to learn ,,,,

  13. Great photo's , good answer and like we've all said there are many traps / ways to control rats and yes suppliers of genuine traps aswell .. Oh and killgerm sell genuine Mk4 fenns as well to name yet another...
  14. Looks like one of Killgerms snappa boxes , they are a great box for traps ,,, choc spread or crunchy peanut butter.
  15. Hmm , each to their own , i use a variation off traps , but the point of bodygrips is they catch rats.
  16. The ones my late Dad used are still in his shed, they are covered in a wooden block,I don't think they are coloured differently, his old shed is like an Aladdin's cave! Hi mate , abit off topic , but we lost my father inlaw last year and he has 3 sheds full of handy tools and bits n pieces . Its a terrible shame they are not with us anymore and not nice to go in their sheds , but at least we can use their lifetimes worth of handy things and remember them with a little smile now and then. Oh and yes definately get that oil stone out ....
  17. nice pics mate , variety is the spice of a hunting life.
  18. good on ya mate for ending its suffering and responsibly dealing with the body.
  19. Nice one mate , my lad used to come out with me , trapping, ferreting , flying my hawk and falcons and clay shooting as well . All very happy memories that can never be taken away , make the most of these special years..
