Agree, think the guy Netflix had scoring gave Crawford 5 of the first 6, including rounds 1-3. I had them 2-1 Canelo. Just felt Crawford gave him respect early on but as the fight wore on he was able to use his boxing to control the distance, limiting how effective Canelo’s punching could be. He even stood and traded at times and gave as good as he got…, but the styles and tactics didn’t make it a great spectacle. I might have had it 115-113, so no complaints over the scoring.

Watched a couple of this guys bike reno/rebuild videos. This one he gets hold of his Dad’s old hog so has a bit of a back story. I wouldn’t know where to start with an old banger of a bike like that, but nice to watch someone who does.

From a different era. 83 pro fights in 23 years, granted not all against high ranking opponents, but compare that to some of todays elite boxers who want a defence every 18 months. RIP

Precisely my thoughts. Never kept them but every time I see pigeons flown from the loft they circle about like a mobile peregrine buffet.., plus they’ll not be streetwise to predators like a feral.

The BBC. Useless b*****ds can’t make a decent comedy for a Friday night, or a decent bit of family entertainment for a Saturday evening, but…, they can find money to make a 6 part documentary following Tommy Fcuking Fury!

What has nationality got to do with what I posted? I’d have said exactly the same thing had the Spanish won. I find women’s football excruciating to watch at any level. Did his farewell gig just over a fortnight ago with support from a load of legends from that scene. Maybe makes even more sense if they knew this was round the corner? Not my thing, but hats off to living the life of a true rock icon. RIP

Same. Think most fighters need that ‘last’ fight that’ll let them know that they can’t quite hit the same levels anymore. Usyk seems a decent and pretty humble bloke, I’d like to see him win this and call it a day.

I remember a series of BBC documentaries on ‘Extreme Lives’ where they followed an English guy called Adrian Nicholas who was developing a wing suit, and who claimed was the invention of his recently deceased French mate, one Patrick de Gayardon. Nicholas died shortly after, both having died in jumping accidents involving wing suits. The evolution and application if these suits is absolutely incredible now but seems a great many of those who push the boundaries come up against them eventually.., and at great speed. Saw a thing about it the other day. Don’t remember ‘76, but one year in the ‘80’s there was an infestation of them.., seemed to follow after few weeks where there were clouds of greenfly around every bush or tree.

Had one in a bird box a few years back but a bit too close to where the kids played. Waited until late evening and they were all home and took a 3m length of 15mm plastic pipe and filled the end with ant powder and blew it into the box. Worked a treat.

Used to, same as buying the Big Issue. Hardly give anything now unless it’s someone who genuinely looks like they deserve a hand. Half the country would deem you racist if you complained about the gangs of Romanian ‘professional’ beggars up and down the country. Utter fcuking madness!

Unfortunately it was the first thing I thought when I read about it, and maybe a bit unfair as I’ve no idea what experience or training the lad had in driving powerful cars. Thing is it’s way too easy now to climb into a motor with incredible power and which can put you in trouble in a heartbeat.., or even worse, wipe out some poor b*****d coming the other way. Hate the idea of even more legislation and opportunity for the government to rinse us for more cash, but if we’re going to allow the sale of these 200mph rocket ships, then maybe we should insist that some form of mandatory advanced dri

Not had the best of days but came home to find some wee bird having a worse day than me. Always get a lift when I see the neighbourhood sparrowhawk in the garden. Shot not the best.., but decent by my standards. -
Do like a carvery. Probably best I’ve had was in O’Neill’s pub in Suffolk Street Dublin about 30 year ago. Went back a few year ago and it was okay, but nothing like as good as first time round.

This might be an actual ‘pet’ hate. Cats. And more specifically, dead cats.., knocked down and killed by cars. Well not really cats, it’s the owners and the fcukwits who post about it on social media that wind me up. Sorrow (and many crying and broken heart emojis) for the cat, deepest condolences to the owners, but not a shred of anything for the poor fcuker that ran the thing over. Or, actual hatred if they didn’t stop to scrape it off the road and rush it to the nearest vet. Buy a cat, keep it indoors, it won’t get flattened by a car. Simples.

Apologies if this has been covered.., used the app at a favourite spot this morning and I could hear at least five different calls but the app was only picking up one bird. Use with an iPhone, and I guess the app is only as good as the mic is at listening. Bit of a technophobe (lazy cnut) so my question is, is there any way to make the phone or app more sensitive, or can I buy an external plug in mic to improve…, anyone used one?
