Couple of naïve lads with no records. Might be wrong but I’d guess they’ve been allowed to run up a bit of a coke debt and then manipulated into this situation to clear it. Doubt they even knew the extent of the risk or the sentences that could/would be handed down. But, if you play with fire etc.

I’ve read a lot of your posts in recent years lamenting how the heavyweight division is now dominated by the size rather than skillset of the fighters. Must be satisfying to see a good littl’un beat an average big’un? To be fair to Fury I’ve been critical in the past of him not taking or getting the career defining fights, but these last two were those fights. I think he boxed well in both but came up short against the better man, and for the most part has been gracious in those defeats…, so credit where it’s due.

I know you seen the fight through the eyes of a Fury fan, but that’s a ridiculous statement. The cards were nonsense but the majority of boxing people I’ve seen had Usyk edging a very close fight. I think for a guy giving away 6” in height and roughly 4 stone, Usyk was incredible in both bouts.

I’ve seen worse commentary, and actually called it the same as McGuigan with Usyk winning by a point. A few of the early rounds were very close. In my opinion its a ‘flaw’ in the way very close fights are decided when judges tend to mark 10-9, and then might favour one fighter. Seen it recently in Catterall v Taylor 2 where a lot of the rounds I couldn’t split them, but where two judges gave Taylor only 3 rounds, and a share of none. No doubt Catterall won the fight but the margin (117-111 on two cards) appeared very unfair to me. I thought Fury did better tonight but Usyk showed

I think Man U finish 5th and win the Europa League. Back in the UCL next season with a re-built squad. Top 4 next season and league champs by 26/27.., the start of a decade of domestic dominance. Keep the faith.

I genuinely hope Tyson walks across the ring and punches the guys head clean off his shoulders and kills him instantly. Jake Paul and his ilk.., aided and abetted I must say by some of the more esteemed promoters in the sport, are a fcuking blight on boxing.

Funny that the same people that can see that Europe didn’t work for the UK can’t accept Scots who think that the union isn’t working for them. I’m not pro-indy btw but the irony isn’t lost on me either.
