The point about being quiet and letting things die down, ever heard of reverse phsycology?. They can't be involved, if they were involved they'd let it die down. Smart cookies this pair.

Always thought they were a pair of shady bast%rds and if nothing else they were guilty of negligence. After watching that video I'm sure they are. The point at the end is very relevant, Gerry Mcann dismisses the dogs and their findings, would he board a plane if a dog was indicating a bomb on board?. Bet you're fecking life he wouldn't.
  3. Agree with Phil and boyo, still look for a decent standard in a dog but I've definitely mellowed. Had to I suppose for I'd describe my passion for hunting when younger to be obsessive and my dogs to be near robotic. To be fair it's not just my attitude and expectations of my dogs I'm more mellowed with but hunting in general, I always considered myself sporting and fair regarding any quarry I hunted, but now, and this might seem a strange admission on a hunting site, but I don't feel the same desire to actually hunt like I used to. What was it a man once said, I used to study the grizzly in

Then again, Blair, Brown, Prescott etc all claimed to be working class and represent the working man. wise up to the fact, they're all fecking pretenders out to fill their own pockets in government and set themselves up for when they eventually get booted out. Then it starts all over again.
  5. I had a landrover 55 plate double cab pickup a couple of year back, at 50k it had had a new wiper motor and starter motor fitted, vehicle before that was a navara bought it new 2001, sold it 2011 and the only thing it cost was your run of the mill running costs. The only upside I can see to a landrover is they always hold their money and no matter how much a lump of shit it is, some half daft blinkered landrover enthusiast will give you crazy money for it.
  6. I think you'll find in a lot of cases the reasoning behind the cost is a name, simple as that.
  7. As has been said before it's not all about the breeding but obviously good working lines are preferable, however some of the best dogs bred will end up in the hands of clowns, add to that everyone has their own definition of working ability so it's a very grey area. Suffice to say the majority of people I've known to breed a litter thought they were breeding from the best, who knows if they were, the point I was trying to put across was there are no guarantees regarding a dog simply by the man breeding it the biggest single deciding factor is the man who gets it for it is he who has the greate
  8. First dog I ever bought was a field bred springer from working stock back in 95 or 96.. £35.. I'm fairly sure when I was looking around last year, that you could get a springer pup from Buccleuch (David Lisset's work) for £650. Just checked again but they are all reserved up for the next year, and no prices available. It winds me up if you can get a 'Decent' dog from these guys, what makes Joe Bloggs down the road think he can get £400-£500+? Average around our way for a springer at the moment is £350. Prices do change....Our current Woodburner stove needs replacing........ £795
  9. When Poland entered the EU our unemployment level was just over a million, eighty thousand poles came here and got a job. How could that be?. Why weren't eighty thousand Brits filling those jobs?. I'll tell you why, because they were getting more money for sitting on their arses than the job paid, so now we have immigrants taking jobs and now benefits for their families back home that couldn't have if British people had filled those jobs.
  10. Good shooting, and if you can shoot that amount in one night then it is pest control.
  11. If that's the case switch it off, you clearly don't need a freezer if it's that cold. Switch it on when you need to.
  12. You know what?, we actually let the bstards off lightly. If everyone phoned in and reported a suspicious car/light/dog/person we could have them going around in circles. See how long there enthusiasm and funding lasts.
  13. If you have to ask, then there's no point in trying to explain.
  14. I suppose at the end of the day if the OP doesn't mind having his dog on a lead then realistically that's all that matters. Me, I can think of nothing worse, some of the places I beat it's hard enough without a dog wrapping itself around your legs or a tree or going under when you're going over. Bugger that.
  15. nothing if your an escaped loony bin who think the goats horns are love handles. but everything if your normal I said intellegent! its wrong because its wrong isn't acceptable. Is it because its not procreative? non concensual? no its nothing to do with non procreation. its wrong as a goat is not human so how can a man whos brain is evolved to pick up on and sense the female human hormone signals to mate and create new life. so if he takes a fancying to a goat then his brain chemical receptors are not functioning properly therefor showing that his body chemicals are off balance, and a

  17. Didn't Pinky and Perky have a hit single?. To be honest I'm not sure if they were related though.
  18. Feck me I often shorten your name to gnash,,,,I better pack that in ,,, or I'le need a lab and a cane,,,lol Shortening a name is one thing......shortening a name thats already been shortened thats f****n dopey................you wouldnt call me Gn would you. No fecking now.
  19. Well in my little circle (don't see why that is funny) we don't like to repeat breeding as with any dog, terrier lurcher etc when you repeat the same cross it never as good as the first litter of that cross. FACT. Any dog breeder/ trainer will tell you that. As for my bitch she is 2 years old. And you say you have a 8 month old bitch and she hasn't even cross your mind. I'd be pretty excited if she was my bitch especially as the season is around the corner, even if she doesnt dig yet she should be taken out and shown what is about, see what happens at the end of a dig let her see for herself,
  20. Seen that elsewhere, I'm inclined to think they were trying to steal it and straightened it in the process.
  21. Fcukers teaching someone to drive when they quite clearly shouldn't be driving themselves.
  22. Firstly I'd agree with what someone posted about suiting yourself. I can and never will understand people coming on here and asking what others think, but, now that you have, is it not possible to repeat the mating that produced her or as near as possible. They produced her, your diluting her. I'd always go whenever possible to the dogs producing the goods rather than the goods themselves.
  23. Quick survey, who has had a dog stolen and got it back?. Who has had a dog stolen and never seen again?. Just wondering what the success rate is and the actually likliehood of seeing your mutt again if it gets nicked.
