This little lad went back to school yesterday after spending all of his summer holidays salmon fishing (has become very good with the spinning rod and lost his first grilse the other week ) ,shooting ,playing football,swimming in the river , mink hunting ,climbing trees ,on his bike ,out on his quad,making gang huts , in tractors and combines ,cleaning kennels and feeding dogs ,mooching about with a terrier and his catty, lampin rabbits till the early hours even got up 1 morning at 4 to go stalking and has made a very good job of training a pointer pup the basics .....and I feel it will na

How come every one on this site has a hard on for running dogs on hard ground ?...there will be enough give on a newly cut field with the stubble ....I started of following the combine as a kid throwing stones at bolting rabbits and pheasants which I became nae bad at then progressing onto a folding .410 in those days you could following the combine and put some miles in in a day but now with the modern machines especially the big masseys and claas 780 you cant keep up with them . I have had some very productive days at the combine and have farmers phone me when they are cutting ....I giv
