Yes maybe not as keen as I was in my 20s when at 3 in the morning you were still saying "just one more field"but can still give a dog enough to do it justice ......Tig is still alive a bit battered n worn and his feet wouldnt last another season as you would expect ... although retired but he doesnt know it yet im not looking forward to his reaction this season seeing the other big dogs getting out hes put out to stud theres a litter on the ground at the moment out of a decent bitch in Leeds he seems to produce decent stuff he will be given an easy life now inside in fron t of the fire this w -

I had one of they manual duck calls a few seasons ago and left it on the mud one morning and never replaced it ...I found it a bit too much fukin about .If you looking for decnt mallard calls I like the primos wench and the bill collector ....work for me anyway and ive tried a few over the years

Heres a pic of the brindle dog at the same stance just to give you an idea of differance in size he was 28" 3/8dh saluki type with a few differant mixes in there bull whippet way back ....not breed for coursing although had some blondie blood amongst others in him and spun a few hares before we were made criminals . I remember a 3/4 grey/collie grey bitch called shiela up here about 15 years ago that was a decent on hares for our type of ground very up and at them Moyes captain Max ....seen loads of vid footage and it can get a bit boring but Moyes Captain theres a dog I like to watch -

I will let Max tell you ...I wouldnt say he was a strong type quite the opposite he would of been no more that 60lbs ..he was light on his feet where as the brindle dog would of been near 80lbs I would describe as strong type very differant running styles both good to watch though -
Get yourself up here at the end of the month ...get a laugh at your shooting again ...oh and your attempt at flyfishing

Had Sid up here for a while very fast dog ...matched him with Tig a few times ..left him for pace but once the minute mark past Tig would pass him ...just starting to get him to a decent fitness when he was hit by a car ...shame as he was starting to get in amongst some gear ...good thread lads -

I know your not interested in numbers Ali but the place you and me knew lads from are shooting high 200 brace a day and had a 378 brace day at the start of the season ...so they must be thriving ok -
theres a skene of about 300 around Montrose been there a month or 2

Im not some half pissed english bloke ,,,like ive said ive only had one bit of trouble in Asia and that was in singapore with some want to be gansta that thought he was black .a ...and that situation was dealt with very quickly all my years of travels it has always been English or Canadian lads that have caused trouble .....was at the dogs tonight Max the track is a 5 minute walk from my hotel ...won first 4 races then it went down hill from there ..I will get some pics up later
