Sporting shooter I can only say it as I see it and I will fire many thousand cartridges a year at quarry from Snipe to geese ....the past 3 seasons I have shot driven pheasants and partridge ....100,200-300 bird days sometimes 4 times a week and if some one turned up at my shoot with 28gr 7 1/2 s I would ask them to use a more suitable round ...if you were shooting birds of any height and quality you would surely be priking a load of stuff .

I had a carryboy on my L200 but the 2 back had latches on them that the dogs chewed so I totally removed one of the windows and put mess over it with self tapping screws but even with that it was still too hot at times with all the glasss so have just fitted an I for Williams with the mesh window at front and the mesh rear door ...under £600 fitted ...loads better

got an invite onto one of the most prolific beats in Scotland on Mon mate had a fish 3 rd cast and I managed 2 for the day and lost 2 one I had right to the net ....back on today but the water came up 3.5 ft in a few hours then started dropping back again .....saw a lot of resident fish running when the river started rising some of the pools were bouncing with fish.

28gr 7s are more a clay catridge although I have used them with a tighter choke but imo they don't cut it as a consistant killing round
