Well I suppose I had better " come clean" over this , and tell you lads the truth , .Especially "Burger Boy",- Big Twa ... oops Big Mac. I try to shoot less vermin than I do, honest but I have secret to tell I always take a recording of that record of Des O conner`s, -- "I PRETEND". You wanna see how those pigeons flight in Mac - " BY THE BARROW LOADS" ! Erm, " Before freezing" - surplus to my requirements and sold to the birds of prey lads. Have a listen to De -
Remember to do this when your planting anything just now lads. Makes a "massive difference", far, far, better than any box of crap saying fish, blood and bone. Excess pigeons, rabbit including guts, then some prawn skins Remember last year lads, when I placed a few 3" inch runners off my Rasberry canes into a half water butt filled using compost, pigeon and rabbit ? Just take a butchers at this, just out of April, atb Mark.

Scope Suggestions please.
mark williams replied to mark williams's topic in General Airgun Discussion
You`re a proper Gent` Phil but I never, ever, borrow mate,- any accidents and I`m buying twice. I would like to stick with the older Mamba scopes Phil, if I can but I was interested to see where peoples thoughts were / are ? I`m in no rush as 5 out of six of my rifles are set up " ish". Anyways, Phil, you are very kind. Mark. -
Yep, Hard to walk past a pcp like a 100 to pick up a fine springer. I just love the spring rifles mate but this Saturday sees me taking my young 11 yr old nephew out for his first ever outing and I seriously think the 100 kt is coming with me.

Nice shooting lads . How`s that new 97 coming along Jimmy ? Have you had her out on the rabbits, etc, yet ?

7 year old post ?

Lads I`ve removed the Mamba 4-16 x 44 from my FWB Sport and put it onto my new Pro Sport as I use the Pro Sport for static hunting and the spec of this scope caters my needs very well indeed. I`m currently trying to use an old 4x38 Bushmaster scope on the FWB Sport but the old crosshairs and lack of magnification have my eyes struggling and I`m having to cease trying to use the old, low mag` scopes. I`m looking for a scope to serve me well on walkabouts as well as static. The FWB Sport above weighs just 7

Lovely looking rifle Tom - classics always are. I was shooting the Mercury rifle in .22 way back in the 70`s and took a hillside of vermin with them. Ayeeee to be 17 again Great addition Tom. -

TX and Silencers
mark williams replied to Jonnyb6161's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hi Jonny, great choice of rifle mate, I regularly hunt with my T Rex 200 HC MK3 .177. I have no issues with noise whatsoever but in saying that I had some work done to her by Rat Works. The rifle is easily PCP accurate and "one hell of a hunting spring rifle". If it helps you any, here is a list of works done by Rat Works and do take on board Jimmy`s advice ( Big Mac), my TX is shot at all times without a silencer BUT a lot of TX lads use a silencer for extra weight and muzzle flip reduction, to aid accuracy that tad more. -
I`m with you John - " All the meat is Halal"
-
You might find the prison menu reads " what they like to read" All food Halal, - do you reckon ?
-
Here you go mate. Pretend it`s a springer . The blunt end is called " The but ", that bit goes into your shoulder, "NEVER, EVER", the other way round I`m sure your imagination will make the rest obvious, won`t it ? Twat x

Took another outing with the spring rifles over the PCP`s, - I just love the challenge of spring rifle hunting lads. I took the new Pro Sport .177 out again and what an air rifle this is lads, right up there with my T Rex for sure. Here`s a reminder of the practice/ training I posted a night or two ago. Here`s that zero put into hunting tonight. All shot high up in the canopy at between 41 t0 44 yards lased. atb Mark.

Buzzards and Hawks were really on the hunt tonight. Can`t be sure of the bird but I watched what I thought was a buzzard, close it`s wings, like a Peregrine Falcon, high up and dive at speed after something.( birds of prey lads advise please ? ) The pigeons were on high alert, to say the least tonight. I also watched a buzzard, try several times this evening, to gently coast into roosting birds as though he was just another pigeon, to see the trees " Explode" with a mass exodus of wood pigeons, realising in the last split second, t
