Good luck and enjoy mate .

Couldn`t agree more with you Jimmy, I have a similar type of gun cabinet and same dilemma. If I get the " get rid of them please" request - one of my 100`s goes to work. General shooting any one of my spring rifles, depending on my mood that day, will be taken, every time, before a pcp, as I enjoy shooting spring powered rifles far more than pcp. After using my spring rifles for hunting etc for a while, I find that my pcp groups become even tighter because I`m thinking and building my shots as I should be doing.

Hi lads, I`m a shooting lad and keen gardener and wondered if any of you have ever tried this I`m about to show you ? We use all left over guts, bones, carcasses etc, whatever is surplus under our crops of Rhubarb, fruit bushes, - just anything really. It`s pure gold of a blood, bone, fish feed. Pick up anything you can get and use it. Old eggs, tea bags, banana skins are a rich food also. A few new raspberry canes after a month. Here`s the raspberry canes tonight

You lot sound a little jealous.

I haven`t had to touch this zero at all in 3 months, Sports Match Mounts for you. Can`t put this Pro Sport down lads I`m literally " chomping at the bit" to get to work with my incoming HW 97K .177. " Hurry up Mr Postman" !

A new rifle to the stables is on it`s way lads.

Yep, the HW 97 K ( not HW 97). That big fella that comes on here "once in a while" put me onto Simon, ( Piano man) who was about to advertise his sale. It is in .177 flavour, two scopes, tuned with SFS internals and SFS spring, Delrin extras, sling swivels, 5 1/2 tins of H&N FTT 4.50 pellets etc, etc. I`ll not be selling my 100`s and I`ll not be buying any pcp`s in either as I consider the 100`s unbeatable. I think the 97 will be the last rifle I buy in. Yes lads, I`ll be going -

Hawke LR 400. So reliable and accurate I`ve still not changed the battery after 4 years use. atb Mark.

Wouldn`t the rosewood cap from the likes of an Air Arms rifle and lovely white spacer be sized up nicely by you Jimmy ? Just a thought . Matches that 77 butt lovely mate.
-
That`s beautiful mate

Keep her looking classic whatever you decide Jimmy. Now then, that cap you want in an alloy etc, try - Geoff Bullock, Liquid Steel Designs ( LSD) Preston Top bloke, I`m pretty sure he can do this for you with his eyes closed. He`ll incorporate any design/ engraving, you might fancy as well. atb Mark.

I`ll be surprised if I ever buy another pcp lads, I`ll stick with the HW 100`s for sure but that`s it, I think, from now on. I last took a spring rifle out on 24th April 2018, the Pro Sport .177. Since late April it`s been the HW 100 KT .177 . Not being funny lads but I remember the spring rifle shooting much more than the PCP. I`m shortly back to spring rifle discipline and practiced again with the new Pro Sport .177. tonight. You all know my thoughts on the accuracy I`m getting from my T

Lovely sunny day for a classic photo I think. "The deadly FWB Sisters" TO the rear is the 1978 FWB Sport 127 (.22) mk1, topped with a period Tasco 4x40 w/a. She is running at a very consistent 11.6 ft/lbs and stunningly accurate with Falcon Accuracy Plus. To the front is the 1979 FWB Sport 124 ( .177) mk 1, topped with Tom B`s old Bushmaster 4x38 w/a. She is running at a very consistent 11.4 ft/lbs, also stunningly accurate with the JSB Exact Express. atb Mark.

No mate, I`m not holding my breath . I`ve just lost out on a HW80 It was a mk1, pristine condition and .177, he decided to keep it longer and I nearly got it for £200, - his asking price. Ah well. I`m pleasantly searching for old HW`s 35 E, 77`s and the superb mk1 80`s

Well I hope this is the true birth and start of the "Classic Section". Good luck with her Jimmy, I`ve a feeling you really will make this one a bit special.

Far too nice to be working today ?

Put the AA Fields 4.52, 8.4g through her Jimmy, fecking awesome combination for hunting with the 100`s. The accuracy/ stopping power, is superb. -
Yes Mitch, got to agree with you mate. It is " far easier" to search out the rifle you want surfing the RFD`s and having to pay that extra £50 quid and being safe and un screwed. The private sale guy I`m trying to buy the rifle from has not answered me back since mentioning pay pal and my youngest son being very experienced in this type of sales . We`ll see
