    I`ll be back to shooting the spring rifles shortly as I tend to shoot better with the Puffer rifles for doing so. My KT .177 zero is 38 yds using the Mamba 4-16 x 50 scb reticule. ( xmas tree) First shot was a rabbit at 36 yds lased, here`s my best mate bringing it to hand. The second presentation I got was a wood pigeon right above me, high in the canopy, all I had to shoot at was the underside of the head. The pellet flew true and accurate taking the pigeon cleanly.     Hmmmm Much prefer this. No milky doe sludge, cysts, growths or tape worm but ------ A chicken tikka vindapoo, garlic naan, popadoms, onion and mango chutney plus a few 8% apple juices to wash the tape worm down I had 4 of those black tins and seem to have " misplaced" 2 of them already . atb Mark.

    In all the decades of shooting I`ve done I`ve never seen this before. The rabbit looked in good health, it`s liver was spotless, pulled back the skin to take the meat and this Is this tape worm eggs ? Everything is in the bin and I`m scrubbed red raw and disinfected strongly

    Well mate the 77 is a real marmite rifle in .177, you either love them or hate them. You fancy all the same rifles as me, it seems Jimmy but I only want the .177`s cal. Did you see the FWB Sport 124 (.177) on free ads,- I`ll bet it`s been snapped up from last night ?

    After the mixy, numbers of rabbits are low. They seem to be getting over this bout of mixy now so after tonight I will let the rabbits be and tell the farmer I am on top of the numbers now and just tell him I`m taking them all the time . The 100`s are a lethal rifle on all vermin.

    BSF B55 Bavaria - bit of a beast that rifle was Tim . Not the S54 underlever, I presume ? Top drawer in the power stakes the 55 was. I too, would love to own one but haven't seen one in ages. For me, the legendary FWB Sport was better, especially the 124, ( .177) . I just love shooting the classics. FWB Sport 124

    I`ve been singing the praises about Primos shooting sticks for a long time now. They help accuracy greatly, as do telescopic sights, bi pods etc, etc and for me, any shooting lad should own them. Static hunting or ambush hunting they totally excel as well as walkabout The heavier your rifle is " the better" on the Primos sticks for steady, accurate shot placement.
