  1. Lads in the mid 70`s a bloke gave me a break barrel CZ rifle in .177 cal. I`d have been around 14/ 15 at the time and told my mates it was a Czechoslovakian squirrel gun I put a scope on it and it shit all over all my mates rifles in the hunting field . What did I do ? I listened to `em and sold it to get a " man`s gun" in .22 I`ve regretted that for years and years now
  2. Jeff I shot .22 religiously for 40 + years, then moved over to .177. I own 6 air rifles now, only two are .22. Have you ever compared the wound channel of .177 to .22 ? Nice shooting Jeff and a big welcome to the .177 calibre atb Mark.
  3. I`m hearing that the Nikko Sterling Panamax 3-9 x 40 is proving to be a very highly rated air gun scope at a very reasonable price. Mark.
  4. Top effort. Compliments on the shooting as well lads, well done.
  5. I`ve taken a good week to do the 24 x 5p shit shot challenge, as I only had three 5p`s to draw around on Monday.
  6. Early days, I know Jimmy but you really liked the old Mamba lite scopes, same as myself, so your thoughts mate on the Air Max. I know, I know Mitch, you love them don`t you
  7. Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! All these scopes and he still can`t shoot anything. x
  8. A little Easter practice lads. The T Rex and the Pro Sport at the targets again, this time - drawing pin head dots at 38 yds. Below the Pro Sport. Only fitting to shoot a bunny drawing rather than my Easter egg box Below is a 10 shot group. A little gun porn lads
  9. 25 mm for the older Mamber lite 44mm objective lens medium mounts. 30 mm high mounts for the 50 mm with sun shade. Sports Match of course Double check those numbers Jimmy but I think they are right ? Good luck.
  10. Yep high`s Jimmy with that 6-24 x 50. Perfect on your eye, on your 100 KT.
  11. The old Mamba scb reticule is hard to better for me Jimmy. Great reticule for older eyes , that`s for sure but the aim points on this reticule I find so, so precise. There`s a queue forming for the old Mamba scopes Jimmy.
  12. I`d have that beautiful scope on my 100 mate . Sean`s old scope is on my 100 kt and feck me what a combo that is ! Your scope would be " clinically accurate" on a HW 100 KT .177 mate. " only saying"
  13. Here`s the results lads of "just my humble shooting" with these two top springers. Exactly as it happened, TX tuned, V`s -the Pro Sport - untouched and barely bedded in. Both rifles shot off Primos shooting sticks, range 38 yds, both fed on JSB Exact Express, 7.87g, 4.52. - 5p targets. The Pro Sport below. Absolutely nothing between them for me, up to now So I thought I would try 4 shots per 5p target but now with a " warm " just fired, Pro Sport, - here`s the results.
  14. Shhhhhhhhh ! Don`t let Jimmy read that Si
  15. Nice shooting Matt. Nice looking new perm` to twat.x
  16. Nice post and nice shooting Chris . Compliments mate.
  17. I seem to be having an effect on someone`s thoughts Contrary to the above, I could not recommend anything other than the HW 100 to you Griff. I cannot offer anything advice wise for night time other than a warm fire and good wire, ( snare work),- gets outstanding results. Scope wise I bought a nice 4-16 x 50 Mamba from Vislauk off here for static/ ambush shooting for my HW 100 KT .177, - seems to work ok. Do remember to brush the frost off and use a "Des O`Conner record" to get them to land
  18. We`ll be patient for you Mitch, you`ll catch on soon. Hopefully
  19. Hi Shaaark, I simply shoot directly off the sticks, making sure there`s no physical contact to the fore end of my stock and a nice relaxed grip to the rear. I do tend to rest the Y (yokel) "upright part" or stem, palm down,or held very gently up, between my thumb and fore finger of my hand, never, ever, the rifle. PCP or Springer, that`s the way I hold my rifles on the Primos mate and allowing/ promoting the shot cycle,- gives great accuracy. Hope that helps any
  20. Well Rezmond, I`m 1/4 black . Never had a complaint yet . I know what your sister means by the way
  21. You can`t leave the forum Mitch ! We`ll have no one left to take the piss out of . Anyway, before you go, - Those shooting lessons I gave you certainly seem to be rubbing off, even though those squirrels are sitting ducks and " THE best puffer" is being used. Only saying like Twat x
  22. Congratulations on the new perm` Rez Twat !
  23. A lovely evening tonight, too nice to miss out . Here`s the spot I chose to shoot, the tree tops are 35 to 40 yds up and were the pigeons flight in. I`m not sure if anyone picked up on a topic I posted yesterday, Pro sport v`s T Rex but it was put to the drawing pin head test tonight. Picking and threading those shots, sometimes, like tonight, only head or neck shots are on, the Pro Sport excelled lads. Here`s my best mate retrieving to hand. Here`s the Pro Sport .177 atb Mark.
  24. Well lads, here`s the first of a few match offs I plan between my two rifles. Check the groups out against the drawing pin head and 5p`s - both rifles would have taken a rabbit with ease, at 38 yds. The TX has had a tune from Rat Works but as far as I`m concerned, at the moment, the Pro Sport can stay exactly as she is, credit to the Pro Sport. I also placed a JSB Exact Express pellet on the scope turret of both rifles and fired them off, both rifles kept the pellet on top of their scopes easily. My opinion of both
