  1. As a few of you already know, I loves me boat fishing, well my usual haunts are south coast, east, southeast, Devon and cornwall. This year I want to venture north for new experiences and places to see/visit. so, what’s hot and what’s not, some of the places I’ve been considering. The Mersey, Anglesey, TheHumber, Whitby, and all around those general areas. looking for some winter sport, and when I find some nice spots will also be a summer visit on the cards as well. requirements will be, salt water ? hopefully fish, or at least a fair chance of
  2. Well the spec look good, but I would want to handle it before splashing the cash
  3. Cheers but I meant what squirrel call ?
  4. Nice one, what call do you use ?
  5. Nice one rich, am sure rob will do it justice judging by his other work.

    Advice

I can’t be the only one thinking this........ no1, you knew the fps when you bought it. no2, you know about grains of the pellet. I believe you bought that gun knowing full well it was way over anything you can buy legally in the uk, hence you bought it from abroad, I think you wanted an fac air rifle for whatever reason. You was grassed up, and police were told you had a gun, they obviously thought it was a big enough deal you had it to mention it, that tells me they don’t trust you with it either. A few days later your in trouble (altercation can mean anything from g
  8. Yeah I did think it was a bit odd, most likely more to it than I know about though, they only tell you what they want you to know.
  9. It would seem a company have the kit to install two boxes that shuts all drone signals down and puts them into ‘return to base’ mode, however our laws will not permit them to be used in the uk, they are already in use abroad by all accounts.

    Brexit

I agree with virtually all of this, if we scrap the vat, then that’s the biggest incentive in the world for new business and all the financial gain that brings. However, we can pump as much money as we like into the nhs, police fire etc, but until the fat is cut from those organisations the money goes no where, they are wasting millions every yr, no point pumping money into a loss, the time and effort would be better rewarded by getting them running efficiently, like a proper business, then give them more money that would be useful. Not so sure about the tax at w0% across the board,
  11. One of my mates had the l200 and had issues with sensors, after repairing the head gasket, took ages to get sorted and cost him a fortune, soon as it was fixed he sold it. another friend bought one last year, owned it for about 4 months and it spent nearly all of that back in the garage been fixed, sent it back in the end. i have the ford ranger and like it a lot, had a few small issues with it all fixed under warranty but in general it’s been very good and hard a proper hard life, however I have heard they are also prone to playing up so perhaps I got lucky with this one. I tes

    Duck feeding

As above, unless your putting ducks down, it isn’t when you want to shoot, it’s when the ducks are coming. feed it exactly as wf says above but don’t shoot anything, only feed if it’s going and keep building on that, once a duck finds water and food more will come, and keep coming if there is food and they are not been hammered. i only shoot my ponds or splashes once a fortnight and the ducks keep coming, if you hammer them too often they soon bugger off.
  13. And that would be the right answer ?
  14. Well frankly I’m very surprised to hear he missed a leak, not the sort of service I have heard about him, but I guess it happens to the best. I agree he should have picked up on it leaking, but if he has offered to repair it FOC and pay all postage costs, I can’t see what else he could offer. Has the original power problem been sorted Now ?
  15. How warm are they ? i have a pair of muck boots, Arctic sport, lovely and comfortable, warm as toast, now 3 year old and I wear them 7 days a week on the farm (average15k steps a day) and between the farm work I wear them out onsite, only downside to them is grip
  16. That’s not good and surprised to hear that, get on his case mate and see what he has to say about it.
  17. Agreed, the general public won’t care, unfortunately the majority will believe it as they just don’t know any different, it’s shameful how groups will lie to push an agenda
  18. I see a petition has been started to licence air guns by a swan charity based on this case
  19. Pleased to hear that as I’ve got a few of them ?
  20. I’ve always said this and still stand by it. 95% of the time I can be certain, but that still leaves 5% for error, walshie made a very valid point I have had many times in the past.
  21. I’ve got a torch from them, cracking but of kit but by got it was expensive, I would get the headtorch if it’s as good as the handheld, 5y warranty I believe so they obviously use good components. Glad to hear they offer a good customer service as well.
  22. I may be reading this wrong, but it sounds like it’s not a new gun, he’s always used those pellets with good groups, cleaned the barrel and now it won’t goup. If that’s the case, did you take the mod off to clean the barrel, could you have moved a baffle inside, Is It clipping ? Try a group with no mod, and if it’s still playing up I would chrono it
  23. He’s getting old and often forgets where hes left them so has to take a few spares !! It don’t look a bad beast hanging up, another good one to take, nice write up and I like how you arranged the tools of the trade, tree huggers be after you for stabbing the trees next !
