Probably have a nice 30-06 with a swaro scope for when the cameras ain’t about. Like he was in jail for a misdemeanour not so long ago, reckon he got busted shooting something as I believe been an alien he’s not allowed it has to be the Mrs !

Yeah I get all that, and obviously I look at things a lot different here, but even when I saw her break a rifle, she got a new one and after some ‘practise’ she got two rounds into a 2ft square and they were well happy with it ? I suppose if my life relied on it I wouldn’t be so concerned about wounding.

Your looking at silly money mate, be very lucky to find anywhere under 10k an acre, depending on where and what you want, I don’t think it’s the pikeys pushing the price so much as the equestrian world. edited to add, if you want rural, run down, and very cheap, look at France, I considered it but the french are not really to my taste ?

No one is saying don’t challenge it, nor has it been mentioned he should run off, I think the general consensus is he has done a good thing, but gone about it in the wrong way. Get the council on side, I think it’s a great idea, but you can’t just go round building shit on land you don’t own as you feel like it, can’t even do what you like on land you do own for that matter. If someone did similiar on my land it would be ripped down out of principle, if they approached me and asked if they could do it not only would I likely say yes, but I would most likely give them as much help as

Certainly some good boats out of there, I believe an 8lb cod is pretty decent for that area, as I understand it, lots upto 10lb but not many go over that, although been summer I am guessing you were fishing on the wrecks and not anchored with bait. Cheers Phil, will see what I can find out on the Cleethorpes group, I stayed in a hotel in Grimsby not long ago, plenty of parking for boat and trailer, but if I come up I will either look at a b+b type thing with parking and slipway nearby, or visitor mooring in a harbour somewhere to make life easier. what boat did you have a sh

Your not wrong, I was always sceptical about the Mali, until I got one, smaller by some margin, but Christ they move, and the power in them is pretty incredible for the size, but the thing that strikes me the most, is the determination of them, they are 120% focused on the job, mentally they want it, I mean almost live for it, a combination that makes them something to be very wary of, personally I would front out most dogs before a Mali.

Thanks DC, never really considered wales, but it’s going on the shortlist, not too touristy, stunning scenery, thanks, all those you mention look like a nice break. Cheers Arry, not really so bothered about marks as i have charts galore and numerous apps, I also use one called WreckFinder, sounds very similiar as it was developed for and by divers. Wow, detailed response and a bit to take in, thanks for that. I will take a look at those and research the areas, much appreciated. probably should have stated I do have pb level 2 and fully insured.

Ah ok, that makes sense. you would be amazed at some of the run in with tankers and the like, I’ve had them in the channel, no one on look out, running autopilot, often well off the lanes, gotta be on your guard all the time hence radar overlay on the plotter

That’s the exact experience I’ve heard from a couple of well respected guys who do a fair bit of shite weather shooting.
