  1. Was out looking at a job yesterday and they had a dead silver birch tree, it was covered in these. I believe it's a birch polypore, edible, and with a great number of medicinal uses.
  2. That actually sounds quite nice jok, might have to give it a try
  3. So you got self one then ?Great bits of kit ain't they. however I didn't like the time lag on the streaming mate, be ok If your just watching a fixed point I suppose, and you loose a lot of the resolution as well, I think it would just annoy the hell out of me.
  4. I have the r10, the ultra, and the hw. The hw is faultless, just as everyone says, it certainly does the job, but I found it just wasn't balanced right for me, front heavy, not a heavy gun, but unbalanced, so I swapped the air tube for the a@m lightweight, and the silencer, sorted the balance right out, lost some weight, and improved shot count. The r10, it's been perfect out the box and never missed a beat, good balance, good shot count, accurate as anything, and reliable, I've never messed with it as have no need, but, watch what scope it's fitted with as I found the good scopes m
  5. I can't help but look forward to your posts, either great grub or opinions I lIke ?
  6. Superb piece of kit, I wouldn't be without mine now.
  7. Should be some good decoying on that when it starts showing through, has it been drilled yet as that's usually a good day as well.
  8. Looking forward to hearing how you rate it, I've been considering getting one for a while.
  9. Ha ha, you and me both ! I was told about it but was told it was the spotter
  10. With that scope it should be a great combination.
  11. I won't be upset if it happens. Time will tell.
  12. Thanks, I can see your point about shape, they are nowt like a regular pig, totally different shape. Ive got a g.o.s sow and she is really wirey, hairs are like thorns.
  13. I think all these older pure breds can lay the fat on heavy if your not careful. Sure will be interesting to see what they turn out like, nothing like any other pig I've worked with, you can see the wild traits in them, certainly the least sociable pigs I've ever known.
  14. Those two are about 8 months old. Never tried them before but had a few folk ask about them, in what way do they never finish any good, weight or meat or ? Pigs are all a learning curve so interested to hear everyones thoughts, especially as you've had dealings with them. I did think the slaughterhouse may grumble about the hair ?
  15. I've had both, still got the hw100 at the moment, not much to choose between them, both accurate and will do what you want, both hold good money, even 2nd hand they can always be sorted if a problem, usually a good service and seals will cure any of the usual issues. if it's been stored full of air, it should be ok, just beware seals do deteriorate over time so don't be put of by leaks.
  16. Very good air rifles bud, they still hold good money 2nd hand, if your serious about getting one, you won't go far wrong with that.
  17. Done, and passed on to some friends
  18. Well, had a few joints now and the flavour is something else, am really pleased with them. also knocked a few sausages up yesterday, these ones were chilli and garlic, possibly the best sausage I've ever eaten,
  19. So what was the answer, might help the next person searching.
