Whether you find his comment funny or not, when you strip it down, all he has done is point out that the fella is black - no abuse, no derogatory comments, he didn't even swear ! So, apparently, its a crime to point out that a black man is black.......

It's a typical industrial town that's lost its industry, that's all ! Like so much of the Midlands and the North, I guess....... The town centres had a lot of money spent on it in recent years, but the population aren't exactly wealthy, which gives the town an overall 'down at heel' feel to it.......shame really. Once you go out into the sticks, smashing countryside all round.

The cinemas had agreed to show the ad before it had even been made, then had a sudden change of heart, and stated that they don't show any religious or political adverts. So, why agree to show it in the first instance, in the full knowledge that it had been commissioned by the Church of England ? Now, suppose we were to substitute "Mosque" for "Church". I wonder how that might have changed the situation........??
