  1. Could put some tall fence posts in, and fit some rows of strong garden wire between them, and plant russian vine, and ivy etc, this will provide a good screen while your hedge is establishing, the russian vine is known as the mile a minute climber, and can rapidly give the desired effect
  2. Depends what kind of spade you use
  3. Is he still wrapping piss ridden T shirts around his lantern ?
  4. Often wonder why that flatland holds such high populations of hares considering they are a hill animal, obviously there is a rich, and varied food source for them, interesting place that's for sure
  5. Interesting tip, will store that in my brain. What kind of sausages are you making ?
  6. Old Bob T, has got the right idea, something I would like to do in the near future, like to put some hares back on the fields where I took my fair share in my youth, as long as I can persuade the syndicate lads not to line them up in their sights
  7. Always good to see a hare even if it's just the one, many a time i've went out on a winter afternoon and had just one or two courses at dusk, followed by a few miles roadwork for the dog along a country road back to the car feet not touching the ground lol
  8. Like every other part of the hunting act, a cluster f**k drawn up by cluster fucks
  9. More sickening than ridiculous Lab, to afford an animal like the hare no sportsmanship, and slaughter them like some type of livestock goes against the idea of working dogs with survival of the fittest, and an improvement of the species as a factor
  10. Lamping was the main cause of the hare decline on my local fields, aswell as some shooting to stop the coursing, but you're always going to have an up and coming bunch of local young lads getting into the dogs, and they will go on the land regardless of what is there to run, fields devoid of hares are dead fields to me
  11. Getting the dog ready for show season, the face full of diesel fumes will work wonders for the complexion aswell, these boys know the job
  12. I'd hav classed you as an old timer Neil lol Neil was old school before old school was invented
  13. Where the feck is Millet these days anyway ?, the big old sheep romancing bollocks

  15. Heartbreakers, and life takers squire
  16. Just need to keep running her mate, that's the only way to make these coursing bred dogs come good, once they realise you are the one putting runs infront of them they become more manageable
  17. He looks well mate, be a good age to get going next season, gonna be a strong un by the look of him
  18. Why comment on somebody thread if you dont like them and say it.whats the point or are you just wanting to start an argument with him over it.its easier not to comment so theres no throwing a spanner in the works if its not needed.
