  1. The saharas we use all the way through lamping season and have never got stuck in them. On the road they aare abit loud but make up for it in the mud
  2. Got these on mine brilliant tyres and hard wearing had on for 2 years now and hardly worn down and they've had some hammer. Insa turbo Saharas. Don't use kingpin trackers absolutely shite. We ripped the tread off ours within 4 months
  3. Nice to see a staff in fine fettle.
  4. Bet that smelled nice after ??
  5. Best set up imo. Had mine for last 4 or 5 seasons. 170 a good lamp aswell
  6. Just got my pup for £300. Bred of dogs doing the job regular. Still some good decent folk about wanting pups to go to working homes.
  7. Ear cropping seems to be the in thing at the moment with these fat bulls
  8. They call them lurchers shit bred to shit. Iv just got a well bred pup for £300, he didn't want stupid money just working homes. Well tested dogs bred
  9. And dogmen are the bad ones ?? With fair law given (by some), dog either gets or it doesn't not shot and left to die in pain.
  10. Let's us know how it goes, iv always fancied one but heard they are plauged with electrical problems from a few land rover enthusiasts.
  11. Goodyear all terrians best tyres iv had very grippy on fields and good on road. Also maxxis at are good
  12. Same happened to my old dog. Sounds like the same injury. He shattered his wrist they could of taken the leg or fused it. Either way would never run again. Had him pts, was the hardest choice iv had to make for dog. Cried my eyes out
  13. We use both 22amp and 14amp, both do the same except 22 lasts longer. Both do 2 nights full lamping easy. Using 170 and 210. Both same power output but different heads
  14. Best dog I had was a bull grey, died on the lamp aged 3 1/2. That dog took everything put in front of him. Also had a saluki whippet bull grey wasn't the best catch dog on the lamp but would give 100% on anything he managed to catch. Was the best ferreting dog iv had. Also had a Manchester terrier x whippet she could fill a freezer, would take fur and feather in good numbers. Would bowl a fox but wouldn't take one single. They was the 3 best dogs iv had the pleasure of owning. Rip Rock, scooby and jess
  15. Used to get them in the garden regularly when we had fields on the back of house. Now it's a new build estate not seen any since ?
  16. ?? a fool and his money are easily parted. I dont get these people who buy hound types as pets, they are great dogs but you just can't walk them like a normal dog. Let them off the lead they pick up a scent and gone. I learnt the hard way, bought a bloodhound she's a cracking bitch but you can't let her off in woods or fields. She will find any game in a 10 mile radius. Obedient bitch until she gets on a scent
  17. Watched all the series at work. Brilliant series best thing I have watched in years
  18. Some of the best lamp dogs iv seen and owned have been bull x. Very good mix capable of many tasks and always give 100%
  19. I used to lamp with bloke years ago who had one it was a brilliant rabbit and hare dog. Her litter sister was brilliant on bambi but wouldn't touch teeth, mine was the opposite when she was in the mood. My pal has her now he uses her just for rabbiting she does OK but no world beater.
  20. Correct, told the dog does does this that and the other. The dog does feck all. Never again.
