  1. Good intro and nice lookin hound... Welcome!
  2. Got my classes down for our show; Lakies (black n tan things) Borders (otter headed expensive things) Russell's (white bodied things) Fell types (anything else!) Beddy's (poodle blooded things) Plummer's (copper bodied ratting things) And that's it... Everything should fall into those categories and if it don't, your just a rosette hunter anyway!
  3. And this is the very issue with classes in shows...
  4. 100% with ya Neems... Alarm systems are far better than dogs!
  5. Congratulations, great photos... Hears to a long and happy future together!
  6. The Kennel Club (born out of the Eugenics movement) has so much to answer for...!
  7. I thought of you the other day when I saw one, remembered you saying you fancied one. Very nice motors. Them top spec ones especially. I imagine it goes well enough too It goes like stink mate and good on the juice too. Wern't bad bouncing over a greasy wet field either! Now all i need is a nice fitting box for the dogs in the back, without spending a fortune!
  8. Very good turn out today for a very well run show. The weather was crap but the standard of dogs was excellent. I only wish i could have seen more of both the terriers and the hounds but there where good sized classes in the lurcher ring. A massive well done to Simon, Tracy and all at the Conway Valley, including big Graham, our former GTE on this site. It's a great show, a real hunt show, make it a date next year people of THL, you wont be dissapointed. Oh, and have some cake, deffo some cake... It's the dogs doo-dahs!
  9. Just got myself the Mazda 6 i was after. The Sport model, TD Tourer, full spec. Had a spin in it to North Wales today... Oh i am pleased...
  10. I'd get it to a vet if it won't shift in 24 hours, especially if the dogs uncomfortable with it. Could work its way into the dog. Seen that before where one travelled through the bloodstream, infecting different parts of the dog. It took months, the vet had to wait till it was in a vein near the skin to cut it out.

    Ring the Samaritans..!
  12. Pretty much the same but maybe with a drop of saluki in the mix.
  13. Spot on Mud, you dont have to kill em mid summer. Keep em up to speed with plenty of free running and get em on early season bunnies, a few at a time to blow out the cobwebs... "Running fit, is the ONLY fit..." Tighten em up for sure but dont kill em doing it. Real effort is done on them cold October nights and through the other months. Remember that when your pushing hard out of a motor or on a bike MID-SUMMER...!!
  14. A fantasic, spirited effort by Wales, go home with your heads held high.
  15. No one.... Wow, seems like them Scooby days have gone...??
  16. After over ten years of service my old Legacy is finally going to that big stubble field in the sky. So if they are any good to anyone, the dog guard and parcel shelf are up for grabs. Both are genuine Subaru parts, the guard being very easily fitted and quite smart when in. Collection only from Liverpool. If you want em, drop me a pm.
  17. on a serious note mate if we do decide on a bushing dog section can we call the trophy the ste mohatt memorial ? seems fitting,he just passed away recently and he was the main man for this type of dog IMO, had some of my best days out bashing with ste and learned a lot from him, same as most the lads atb AT Fecking brilliant thought AT... We've gotta do it now..!!!
  18. Great shout Treehands. if we put one on I'll be paying close attention, it's a beagle/spaniel cross for me soon!!
  19. I'd love to but we'd be lucky to get ten quid..!!
  20. Just a little help with this one please.. I'm re-jigging the schedule for our upcoming show at Peover Hall. What i want to do is find the best/right catagorys, so The usual suspects; Russell's (white bodied terriers) Lakelands (black n tan terriers) Borders (very expensive apple headed terriers) And... Could 'Crossbreds' cut the mustard for everything else, or do i need a Patterdale (black terriers) and then the crossbreds...??? I need to make the classes compact but not either get em mixed or piss anyone off.. What do you think?
