    Father in laws got it, sister in laws got it, daughter isolating because she has been in contact with a confirmed case at after school club i didn't want her to go to. It's getting closer and I'm sick of it now.

    The problem with young hens is you don't know if they will be any good at feeding young but its a gamble you take.

    It will be better to use young canaries but some older hens will let the goldie tread her if he's trying to. Good luck

    If you don't want your cat standing in something put there to keep them and human intruders away then keep them in your own property, bloody things.

    Is it southern Ireland where people can still keep big cats unlicensed? Is there many free range over there?

    I'm not arsed how big the room is or if its the shed as long as I've got some peace and quiet. In a house full of women its needed.

    It's an expensive way to repair the gable but with the family expanding the way it has it needed doing. I'm tempted to keep the big living room for myself though with a fish tank and a no girls allowed policy.

    Well we've got the damp gable sorted out eventually, chimneys off now and the roof is battened out ready for slating.

    I made one with a section of plastic barrel the type keepers use for feeders and cut a wooden disc to fit in each side and then made a frame to hold it. Some use it and others don't. The little hobs I used to have run miles in it like hamsters.

    There's nobody taking big bags round here thats for sure, they say hedgehogs are endangered but there's more of them around than rabbits.

    Always said that manners cost nothing, me and my mates were all little shits as kids but we all held doors open for old dears and moved if they needed a seat etc but the spoilt little b*****ds around nowadays wouldn't bother.

    Tell me what you want in autumn mate and if I can't acquire it I'll get it cheap. Walnut don't do well up here though apparently thats why we don't have them. Juglans regia is the Latin name I think.
