  1. The ones in his books look like little 10 inch russels with red jackets and today they look a lot different to me. There are still some russels around of that size with a good thick smooth coat which to me would be the ideal outcross for the current plummers.
  2. Did you take your lube with you next time?
  3. Voorburg, Norwich and a German show homer?
  4. Looked a useful dog that one mango. Do you think many plummers of today look like the stuff back then?
  5. Do people catch them up and break them or are they too wild now?
  6. I found a grenade on one of our fields at work years ago now, it must have been ploughed thousands of time and been through the rotovator a lot too. We had to vacate the field so got sent to work 100 yard away and the two coppers stood guard were throwing stones at it ?. It went off that night when the bomb squad set it off. Apparently the last time one was found was 30 years before and the village Bobby took it away in his bike basket rattling away to the main station in town.
  7. Why not just use a decent russel as an outcross , a plummers basically a red russel anyway. All russels will have a bit of bull, beagle and fell in there somewhere along the lines. Wirral cuntryman or whatever he was called on here was breeding russel crosses and they looked like plummers to me.

Let me know what discount you get and he can come and have a look at my yard too ?
  9. Is it bad that I'd just like to be able to knock a few local rabbits off like I used to be able to?
  10. The only feral I've encountered with the ferrets was a half grown one and my mates 3 legged hob killed it.
  11. Seen a stoat about 30ft up a tree taking a young grey squirrel out of a drey, it made a right commotion. Bolted shellducks with dogs and ferrets, they're a shock when they hit the purse net and the buggers don't make it easy for you to get them out of it. A bloody big hare in the back garden when I was a kid and we didn't back on to fields it had come down the main road and through 2 other gardens to get in to ours.
  12. I think you better keep the dogs out of that room ?
  13. The ferts are enjoying the new residence.
  14. I watch a few videos on YouTube and there seems to be a lot of people over there keep their pouters on roof tops. Paloma ladrones, buchon, paloma de casa are all different terms for them. I think ladrone is thief? This lad has some good birds i just have to skip all the waffling.
  15. Have you ever seen a suelta over there mate where they have a load of mad coloured pigeons chasing one with a white tail feather? Like this?
  16. Is their still bird flu restrictions in place? How can keepers legally catch up hens and move them to the game farms?
  17. Bit different to our coastline.
  18. I fly them out mate yes. When I kept them in the past I picked up a few stray birds with them and they also used to bring back my missing rollers. The ones I'm flying now im trying to catch ferals with and they have brought a few back but not into the trap box yet, im hoping that changes once the breeding seasons kicks off. I had a feral squeaker with one last week.
  19. Some different types of flying pouters
  20. I keep a few thief pouters at the moment.
  21. I got given this today at work so I'll give it a whirl this week. I had a quick swig before and I don't think I'll be drinking it all in one night ?
  22. Yes but not with the topcoat just the normal matting and resin.
  23. They aren't neoprene lined they're just like a normal welly but the material they're made from is meant to have better insulation than normal. If you are stood around in a swamp your feet get cold.
