  1. Can't see the picture Toby, but I'm guessing squirrels and an ultra? Good shooting anyway. What calibre are you using?
  2. Had a walk round ilkeston fair on Saturday, had a go on the pneumatic o matics again, didn't win again, so went on hook a duck and won! Well, I enjoyed it anyway,lol.....
  3. So which one is best for the money, hw100 or mk4?
  4. Out of interest, I was having a look at the shooting stalls at Goose Fair yesterday. As well as all the gat guns and gamo's, I found a stall that was still using the old bsa cadets. The bolt action repeaters were in abundance, as well as some new bolt action repeating rifles. Also there were plenty of the old air o matic pneumatic guns rattling away. I had to have a go at shooting the star out, didn't win though,lol...mushy peas were ok.
  5. Many Rapids have been messed about with over the years, sometimes by people who don't really know what they're doing. The good thing is though, theyre solidly engineered, easy to work on and should serve you for many, many years. The longer barrelled FAC ones are a bit of a hefty handler, but them make a really good vermin tool with a good shot count. If you get a Dr Bob quick fill and gauge, they're an even better tool. Not that much to go wrong really. Easy to mend if they do go wrong.

  7. I've eaten many squirrels, find them delicious..
  8. A walk out the other day, I took my little .22 and sure enough it wasn't long before I came across a squirrel hopping around on the ground. He was sat in a bit of a rut in the ground by the time he decided to stay still long enough for me to get a good aim on him. It was a slightly tricky shot, but the accuracy of the SK's paid off again. The bullet exited the heart/lung and broke the right foreleg. Only a few minutes later I had another in the bag as it rummaged in the grass. After waiting a few minutes another squirrel appeared. Just looked round to take delivery of another SK and join his p
  9. I couldn't get good accuracy from the shp cci's' the the standard hp cci's are more accurate for me. Also, I found the shp's to give off a bit of a crack compared to most subs. My local dealers have told me that there's nothing coming through from cci at the moment?
  10. Good shot saluki, where did you get the 10mm lead fella?
  11. Good shooting matt. Can't beat head shots fella.....
  12. Well done franc, I'm about the same with phones,lol... I bet it'll be back for another look, canaries won't be very happy about it though eh?
  13. I've got one that I use on a starter box. Not had any problems, it's been good.
  14. Like trappa said, pick 'em and put 'em in the freezer to frost them. If it's anything like last winter, we hardly had any frost.
