Yes I think you are right his been a challenge for sure and I have plenty of memories both good and really bloody bad lol. He can see his years out now pottering around the house. The temp difference is like chalk and cheese as you would expect but to be honest I think he just has a screw lose lol. Her first encounter with the ferret was bloody heaven compared to him though granted he was a week or two older but even then he just wanted to rag them. She was like best mates with them.

Picked her up Saturday and by Sunday morning managed to upset the whole street ? Lovely character and sticks to me like glue. Completely different mentality from the bull cross as you would expect I guess lol. Around the ferrets like they are equals and job done pretty much straight away. She is not out to kill every thing at least not yet. Unlike the old chap who was a slog from the word go. Collie grey x collie grey. Her brother is spare just good working home wanted ideally. Pm me for contact details ( llandeilo) Looking forward to the next year pottering about

Well son in law top fella picked this up at boot sale for fiver. Its a 250 bulb though and christ throws some heat. Due to the size of bed area only five foot high it is too much. So I have ordered a 100 ceramic and will try that. They cheap enough. Will get that plastic pipe away from the cowl too. For some reason I just thought they were normal light bulbs only bigger. Guess the clue is in the name Need to make sure it's safe more than any thing from point of view of heat and the leccy cable

They are very tasty got to agree What height for a hare ? -
Ferrets need to be as calm and docile as possible last thing you want adding is any sort wildness or even speed for that matter. Doing a thick hedge on your own you want a slow docile methodical plodder

He is taking sense though chances are dog would run up and bark at it or worst case get bit and put off for life. But six months down the road could be different ball game. A little bit of a clue will be when it hits a scent in the day time or spots one and how enthusiastic it is to get after it. Some dogs seem to have a natural liking for them. Rather than let its first go be flying down the beam and grabbing some thing it does not know much about

Ah that may explain it I bought a pair of army boots once saw them mentioned on here. Took dog for walk and walking down a wet bit pavement nearly ended on me ass. Never bothered with them since bloody useless

53 this year and the one thing I notice is the second you take your foot off the gas and walking not quite so far or doing a bit less of any thing. Things slide quickly so you got keep pushing. There is a fella on youtube TA Fishing he is getting on a bit yet he sleeps in his car walks miles and fishing some long bloody sessions. Very entertaining fella too and seems nice guy. Then you got charts running around the mountains like a goat and Ray getting up to god knows what ! so that's some thing to aim for. The old saying use it or lose it is basically true

From sets or seeds ? After some advice off TC I started growing from seed and a lot less bolting and they did well. -
I have noticed this year 2 or 3 times the the tide before the biggest one fishes well. Hard to find patterns and when you think you got it sussed it all goes out window. Last year best day was a cold east wind and flat sea getting knocked down by wind. Was a cracking session. No sense to it as a rule just got get out

Sheep and hunting dogs just don't mix. Broken or not. Any thing that makes a sheep do any thing other than walk is a no no. Pain in the neck daft things. Tasty though
