  2. the view from my pigeon hide on saturday morning. i was trying to catch up with 200 early pigeons on a patch of rape, but i scared more than i shot. oh well nice view.
  3. i dont keep many, just the ones that are a bit special/interesting. always remember though......block up any holes that earwigs can get in through. i thought the lights on the menu selector on mine were faulty....no, it was just full of earwigs ! they just love trailcams. clever bugger there was a snare just down that track !
  4. Know what you mean. i try to move it every few weeks if nothing of interest shows up. there are a few spots i avoid due to high animal traffic, getting 400 videos a week takes some looking through !! one of my favourites with good sound......pair good hunting stu
  5. very quiet on the large animals for a couple of weeks now. sqizzer hartley
  6. well my last outing was tough....got 10 missed 1
  7. not much on the camera this week, just a few deer.no fox so a move has been made. will see what next week brings. roe
  8. I have had a Browning Recon Force Edge for over 2 years now and i cannot fault it. Great video and sound and so far 100% reliable. it has been outside now non stop for the entire time running off a small 2.5ah 12v battery which lasts a good 3 months. it has a security cable around it just in case, but no problems so far. Always had a healthy population of hares, but the last 2 years have seen numbers jump upwards despite 2 hare shoots. hares everywhere
  9. everything went a bit quiet, then a patch of wheat caught fire.... the stem was burnt away just leaving the charred head of the wheat, the grain was still ok and is scattered all over a 1 acre plot. there is a lot, a bird would not have to move more than a couple of foot to fill up !! 64 crows and 24 pigeons was the latest bag. in the end i stopped shooting the pigeons and concentrated on the crows as i thought i was doing more good that way by protecting the song brds, skylarks and lapwings in the area as well as protecting the remaining crop. not a bad afternoon for
  10. and 192 today on another patch of peas, nice start to my holiday.
  11. had bags of 75 + 125 + 159 since. they are now cut so hopefully they will still come. if not got my eye on another field too.
