  1. I don't soak jok but I do start off in the toilet rolls to get them off to a good start and apparently they don't like being disturbed so that helps with that as well
  2. Sounds like the police were on site in force very quickly fair play
  3. Who told you you were free to say what you like?.......don't be silly man, your nothing of the sort. Try shouting an insult at a black man in the street or at football......the cozzers will be through your front door like a steam train at 6am ! Plenty of people have tho ...... This guy is going to court next month for a joke. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/05/09/nazi-pug-man-arrested-after-teaching-girlfriends-dog-to-perform/ ridiculous my dogs do that but we call it a high 5
  4. to quote Wikipedia "(There's) no such thing as a stupid question" is a popular phrase that has had a long history. It suggests that the quest for knowledge includes failure, and that just because one person may know less than others they should not be afraid to ask rather than pretend they already know.
  5. Also used to feed the hounds fallen live stock of all sorts so that pretty much seals that one really
  6. Very true you the pup will keep you going
  7. Mine loves chicken mince but his petrified of chickens Saying that when mine was younger if he came across a scavenged lamb he would grab it run off and try and neck it quickly which could explain a few of the issues I had with him then lol. But I put a stop to that any way

  11. Not tried it shep. I just had a google and looks like some i need to get lol Me rhubarb is well well away now down the plot giving this a corner a good thrashing before it takes off and swamps every thing like it does each year gave the strawberry bed a tidy and yes this is the after picture shoved a few currant prunings in the ground and they seem to be budding so hopefully turn into nice little bushes too wet to do any digging at the moment but managed an hour or two during the week the wife wanted some flowers so popped some bulbs in
  12. I have to say after been out of the game for a couple of decades I had forgot loads and gave zero thought to ground when I bought mine. Just looked on gumtree and thought that mix sounds ok that will do. I picked up this pudding but he has turned out to be the best one I have had at catching stuff. In theory his too big, too fast and just too keen but also very exciting to work. But if I was too choose again I would consider my ground and get some thing smaller and more robust and sacrifice a bit of speed if needed. Like a beddy/whippet maybe and one fella on here has some nice clips
  13. This is the thing you never know whats coming along. I walked out to a channel once at low water. Setup the first rod and cast in close. Turned away for a piddle and heard clank clank. Looked around and the rod was being slammed into the stand and tip bouncing off the floor. By the time I got sorted it was gone as I hadn't set my drag. Another night then first cast and a big tide before i new it I had a lot of line out. Saw the tip bounce twice and line go slack. Reeled into it and even with all that line out I could feel the fish fighting and it wasn't budging much at all. I got to heavy han

Sounds like they tried every thing http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-39300220 apart from tranquillising. But its sad fact thousands dogs die daily but this one was in the public eye

  16. I have had working spaniels for 20 years, hopefully trained to a decent standard for picking up and beating on some incredibly prestigious shoots. so going to do the same basic stuff......just never had a lurcher and finding it hard to imagine how sensible they are compared to cockers....I keep thinking I must be doing something wrong Until they see, smell some thing then try your stop whistle
  17. you can use this site or one of many programs or web browser plugins http://metapicz.com/#landing
  18. flickr has the option to hide exif data which is handy. I wouldn't be surprised if photobucket does too
  19. You would have to be silly to take and keep incriminating pictures. Even deleted ones can be recovered. Putting your dog at risk for the sake it and most folks are very attached to there dogs so it would be madness. Not that any one does any thing they shouldn't obviously. Just saying
  20. I love to see pictures and videos. Even a dog sat in a boot with a few rabbits is nice too see. I like taking snaps of my own dog as I just love seeing a dog work. It obviously means bugger all about proving who works there dogs though. Plenty are not interested in taking snaps or just are not keen on computers. But pictures do brighten the place up Tomo just ordered 20 of these but trev will be over that gate like a whippet or with a whippet sorry I couldn't help my self
  21. Looks like he rode it into the ground. Been watching lots of pig hunting clips on youtube lately. Mostly in new zealand and it looks bloody exciting stuff and lots of good meat.

  23. Sounds right that. I don't bother aiming for thee fish any more plus if it does come along I will hopefully put the bugger back. 3 or 4 lbers do me nicely
