  5. As josy said, but i do mine at night when its cooler. About three times a week sometimes four, and i always have the dog on a lead so i can gauge how fast he is going otherwise he runs hell for leather and burns himself out and i cant get the miles in. I start with a couple and build up to 5 to 8 ish, that with plenty of free running and i do sets with one of those ball throwers. Also still do a bit with bike in winter dependent on weather, when the moons up to keep them ticking over

  7. I have to agree with bosun, years ago i would of said just a pure grey, but now with the way match dogs are bred and the good bloodlines. They can bring so much more to the table with good feet natural wind ect its the way forward but thats just my opinion

I was a window cleaner for years with a few lads working for me, plastered on site and off for a good few years. And more recently i owned and ran a national car park enforcement company, it was a giggle and i had some pretty big contracts and earned a few quid out of it, but i didn't exactly win the Mr popular of the year badge.! LOL. Got fed up with the hassle and bother it brought so got shut. I know have a shop in the retail trade with a busin

  19. No one said coursing is,nt illegal.
  20. One of the reasons the running dog enthusiasts get a bit miffed over hare drives, is because it is such a beautiful marvelous athlete of a animal. It seems a waste to just blast them with a shotgun when driven towards guns from the beating line, a lot of the hares cannot be sold to the dealers as some are to shot up with lead. And yes before you spell it out to me, i know coursing is illegal now. Back in the day when coursing deer was legal in daytime with full permission in England, a lot of stalkers got miffed as they saw it as there sport only and thought it was unsporting to course them,
  21. I have to agree, if you want good blood out of tried and tested workers, then the miles shouldn't be a problem. I have in the past done myself 11 hour journeys ( there and back ) to pick a pup up. At the then end of the day whats a few hours in the car, considering all being well that you may be getting ten years of good running and sport out of your new four legged friend
  22. Good stuff notz How are the dogs bred ?
