    freelance was you in the lurcher club that went on the land at blairgowrie????? Sort off, was,nt really part of the club. I was friendly with a fella at the time who had a lot to do with it and used to go up with them a few times

    I've met Dave quite a few times, and find him a decent enough fella. Also watched his collie cross,es work up Scotland in Blairgowrie, seen the Kizzy bitch do a bit. Nice steady very obedient rabbit dog. As i said always found him a nice bloke Atb

    Whin i have met you many moons ago, but you wont remember me and also seen many dogs in your breeding work Chapmans Bob Slieght,es collie cross,ect. Am sure your a genuine decent fella at heart, but do me a favor and don't be a bell end and ruin a decent thread ! If you don't like this strain of mutts then fair enough fella you are entitled to your opinion. But please don't ruin the thread for those that are genuinely interested in this strain or those that have done a bit and are reminiscing of the old good times Atb

    I had some good times up there with the west cumbrian scorched earth merchants ! The lot of them were mad as hatters. Went up once and GC,s mate big H was telling me how his austin maestro van had blown up a bit back, but he had gone and acquired one from the forestry commission. As back then they used austin maestro vans, and all he had done was stick his plates on it and hand paint it a different colour !!!!!! Mad as hatters like i said :laugh: Atb

    Andy here is a pup i had, it was of GC out of his Blue x Kes. It was a striking pup that reminded me of its sire Gary,s Blue, i had high hopes for this little tyke ! Here is some pics of him as a pup and bottom pic his first nights lamping up the dales at 10 months old. However it was not to be, the dog never ever settled to cars and travelling. He would slaver shake and have a panic attack at the mere sight of a motor. I tried really hard with him, i would lie in the van with him and try and play and make it fun also tried feeding him in the van but all to no avail he just would not

    I also had a pup out of Garys Blue x Kess, ive got some pics of it and the story about it, will bang them up tomorrow Andy. Am off out now with my potlicker for a walk since its cooled off a bit.     Did you know big Hamish Freelance from Whitehaven? He was a big lump of lad,Gary was friendly with him? He was a decent lad,he owned Venger? ... I did mate, a bit full on at times but had a good heart if you get my drift ? I have pics of all those dogs Andy, how was Venger bred ? Cheers Atb I will definately 100% get you both parents breeding mate because a friend of mine knows everything about the Venger and Gizzie bitch,i've heard him going on about them loads of times...he was one of Gary's best mates and even after Gary died my mate has got a tattoo of some kind on to remember h

    Mine was out of two dogs called Venger ( sire) x Gizzie ( dam ), maybe you can shed some light on that breeding ? Yeah GC,s dogs were game i seen them swing off all sorts as my own did, and the little red bitch was a game little fecker, i think she was only about 22inch to the shoulder. cheers Atb

    Get some of thy old Minshaw crew fired up Freelance Here,s a couple of pics of the dogs i used to go out with, on the left my old white dog and in the middle was my mate,s i think it was out of Gringo x Kess ? I maybe wrong as i cant quite remember the breeding. And the dog on the right was i think out of GC,s Blue x Kess again i cant qiute remember again And bottom pic my old dog running against a black bull cross that eventually jacked on us. Atb cheers

    Hi, I get Chicken mince from the dog track at 60p for a two pound block and also go to the slaughter house and get a big box of chicken backs/frames from about two or three quid plus as many free bones as i can carry, and also use what the dogs put in the freezer and alternate between the lot Cheers Atb
